I usually love Chinese chef however it seems like when it comes to the steak in their pepper steak and beef and broccoli they must be using the most cheapest cut of meat they can find. Very tough and flavor off. I’ll never order the beef again.

I went to Chinese Chef on 9/11. Mind you, I've been coming here since 1993. I ordered my usual, which is jumbo shrimp fried rice. This time was different. When I was getting ready to eat, I noticed the shrimp were smaller than usual. I immediately called them to have the issue resolved. I also sent pictures to show the size of the shrimp, and the worker agreed that they were not jumbo shrimp. She then offered me to come back to get my food remade, and I told her I lived far and wasn't coming back. She then offered me a "credit" for my food that would last for 3 months. So today, I went to order the food so I could receive the credit that was offered for their mistake. The worker told me I'll give you 15% off of your order?. I said no, it was a full credit for your cooks' mistake. They literally argued with me about not giving me full credit. To make a long story short, I will never step foot into that place again as to how I was treated. I've spent way more than $39.00, and as many people that come there on a daily basis, keep that place in business, and they won't miss it. I'm very disappointed

Haven’t been here to get food in awhile and tonight definitely reassured me that I’m not missing anything!!! The shrimp fried rice had about 5 shrimp,eggs looked terrible,no bean sprouts,egg foo young was horrible. Cantonese shrimp were hard!! Called Chinese Chef and the phone is not accepting calls.. Threw it in the trash and they can keep that $35,NEVER EVER AGAIN. PLACE LOOKS DIRTY,NEEDS SOME PAINT AND BLEACH. The family photo on the wall has faded and they won’t even take it down. This place has about 25 signs on the window,JUST GHETTO. This place use to be nice. They give you garbage food and could care less about presentation. Good luck Chinese Chef…

I sometimes get rice noodles and they have always been real good, except for tonight they were real dry and didn't taste good at all. For me when this happens it tends to go down hill and never gets better.

Never ate there we decided to eat there yesterday evening ordered beef and broccoli and beef chow mein the meat was so tough and rubbery we called him and let them know and argued and didn't want to give us a replacement and did not even give us any compensation
So I have to say the shrimp fried rice is the best I’ve had in the city since China taste closed . Order ahead because there’s alway a bit of a wait because everyone in the area and not cones here because the food is really good ! I don’t know where the bad reviews for taste are coming from I haven’t found a better shrimp fried rice anywhere and I travel a lot .

$57 and I had to throw it all away! I truly am giving this place one star because you can’t give 0 stars. The food had a bad taste. I thought it was just me. The next morning my frige stunk. The food was completely spoiled. I don’t know if they mix good food with food that had been sitting but I order egg foo young and it went bad the next day. I called to report this and all the lady said was I’m sorry. Well I am sorry too. I will never go there again. Please read the reviews before you order! They all say the quality of food is trash.

Good food, nowhere to sit when waiting for your food. The service is okay. I called in my order, and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes, and i was waiting over an hour for my food. They didn't offer me anything for my inconvenience.
