Comet Cafe in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, proved to be a delightful spot for a lunch outing. From the moment I stepped inside, I was impressed by the cool ambiance. Despite being a popular spot, I had no trouble finding a seat, which was a plus. The cleanliness of the place added to the overall positive experience. The server's friendliness and attentiveness stood out during my visit, enhancing the dining experience. Their warm demeanor added a personal touch to the meal, making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer.Opting for the club sandwich was a wise choice. It was delicious, with fresh ingredients and flavorful combinations that satisfied my taste buds. Each bite was a perfect balance of textures and tastes, leaving me thoroughly impressed with the culinary offerings of Comet Cafe.Convenience played a role in my experience as well. Finding street parking nearby made the visit hassle-free, adding to the appeal of returning regularly, especially if I lived nearby. Comet Cafe would undoubtedly become a regular dining spot for me, given its combination of great food, friendly service, and convenience.Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Comet Cafe to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Milwaukee. Whether it's for lunch, dinner, or even just a casual hangout, Comet Cafe has everything you need for a memorable meal.

Good experience. Our server seemed new but the general manager took good care of usWe had the Rocket platter, Compact turkey dinner, Ruben and Artichoke Melt. Great presentation and Great food. Also tried a coffee drink called Honey Badger. Fabulous...not too sweet. Definitely recommend and will come here againDietary restrictions: Vegan and gf options galore. Nice to have a menu that has more than one or two options.

My husband, my daughter and myself ate here. We were not impressed. My husband and daughter ordered the Ruben which the menu stated was slow cooked corn beef. Well....the "Ruben" was basically sliced processed lunch meat. They both sent it back to the kitchen and ordered something else. My daughter then ordered the Mac n' cheese which was just ok, it was bland. My husband returned his Ruben and opted for the fish fry. He said the fish was cooked well but lacked seasoning. I ordered the vegan wings and they were ok. They were well seasoned but I would not order them again. I did enjoy the vegan cherry pie. It was very tasty and the highlight of my meal. I also ordered 2 margaritas on the rocks which were good. My daughter had the salted Carmel pie that she did not enjoy. She said the saltiness overpowered the carmel flavor. The server was nice and accommodating. All and all the food was mediocre and overpriced for what we got.

We are from Indiana and go to Comet Cafe every time we visit our son in Milwaukee. We went twice this time. Love the food and the atmosphere. Nothing fancy but it's clean and the staff are really nice. Lots of delicious vegetarian and vegan options too. The Vegan Biscuits and Gravy and the Tofu Scramble are my favorite. The biscuits are delicious and the Tofu Scramble has lots of veggies and vegan sausage. Highly recommend

I feel like they always have salad food. I like the roast beef sandwich, generally and the homemade sauces, particularly the balsamic for the side salad, and the tartar sauce are really good. Of course they're bloody. Mary's are bomb. Services good they do well balancing the busyness with customer service and getting people in and out. And the ambience and chill. I'm glad they came back.

While the food looked great, it was very dry. Would never get anything with the homemade biscuits ever again, but it was a good try.

The food here is AMAZING! I personally recommend the rocket platter. The mix of hash browns, eggs, pancakes, and bacon are sooo good! Our food was served really fast within 15 mins.

Out of this world food and homey welcoming vibe. Must get the Poutine. My Canadian friend said it was the best he's had. Wish they would bottle the gravy. Soo good!

I have to admit I was disappointed with my meal. I had the Stendler, which was just stuffed with hashbrowns very small and very few bits of some meat that I could not get a flavor of, and very little egg. Cheese was non-existent in this wrap as well. I must say the artistry of the Sriracha was nice.

Honestly one of greatest breakfasts I’ve had in years. The fact that I had a wicked hangover made it even more special. Pork belly and grits plus a side of hash browns and two extra eggs. I’m pretty sure if it was put in a blender and introduced intravenously it would have had the same glorious effect.
