County Clare Irish Inn & Pub

I stayed here by choice after coming to Milwaukee for business training. I was delighted and would definitely stay here again. The room was comfortable and spacious. I booked the Queen bed. They have accessible rooms for people with different needs. The whirlpool tub was wonderful(Pro tip: leave the bath salts, bath bombs and epsom salts at home, they are not allowed because they plug up the works). Premium sheets and tons of pillows are available(4 on the bed and another 3 pillows and blanket in the dresser drawers).

Parking was FREE and offstreet! Bicycle rental is less than a block away. Nearly every other hotel in the area parking is not included. Breakfast is FREE between 8am-10am. Dinner is amazing in the on-site Pub! I had fish n chips the first night and bangers n mash the next. Bangers n mash were the nightly special and really next level. In addition, even though I was staying solo, I met some wonderful regular customers who welcomed me as one of their own. This Inn and Pub was a wonderful Irish experience in all regards.

Went here with my girlfriend to try a new Irish place. We both had the shepherd’s pie. It was very delicious as I devoured mine quickly when normally I take food home. Ordered the seasonal crème brûlée (French toast flavored) it was one of the best we’ve ever had. The kitchen only had one of the crème brûlées left, otherwise we would have ordered another. Our complements to the chef and waitstaff.

Staff is super friendly. Food was excellent along with a great bar.

The rooms are kind of basic, but ours was clean and had what we needed. However the hotel atmosphere is really great. It feels like you are in Ireland. The bar and restaurant look authentic. And the included breakfast was fantastic.

I can't say much about the hotel but the food is a must if you come to Milwaukee. Also the atmosphere is great and comfy.

What a hoot. Seriously feels like stepping into Ireland but in the heart of Milwaukee.

Handful of great Irish beers on draft. Plenty seating for the restaurant if you’re not just here for drinks. Worth a visit even beyond just using the hotel.

Went to the pub, didn't stay at the inn.

Wish I could give more stars to County Clare! This is my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee. If you are looking for great food, friendly service and a cozy spot - County Clare has got you covered!

We did takeout from the pub and restaurant.
Our entrees were corned beef and cabbage, Irish root soup, and the Rueben. Everything was excellent, and as good as I’ve ever had. I was met by a hostess immediately and the bartender brought my order and check without delay. The bar and dining areas were classy, clean, and well maintained.
We didn’t get any drinks, but the selection appears to be extensive. Overall, their menu is rather modest but has enough options to satisfy most people, including vegetarians.
The only negative is the parking lot is rather small. I found a spot, but I imagine that a need to street park happens often here. Considering it’s in a popular part of the city, you may end up walking several blocks.

This place is a total deal. Is it fancy, no. The rooms are comfortable and simple. They put their money in the quality of the mattress which was incredibly comfortable. The attached pub is charming and always busy cuz the food is good. Simple included breakfast. Great location.

Cozy restaurant, delicious meal and great service - what more could you ask for? I would highly recommend the reuben rolls! For our entrees we had the Guinness pot roast and the cottage pie, both were excellent
