This place is so so good! Do yourself a favor and get the Cuban. The Bistec dish is excellent with the grilled onions. I am so glad I finally tried this place in person. I have had the take out before, still VERY GOOD. Can’t wait to come back here!

Stopped in last night before a show at the Pabst Theater. The atmosphere is a cross between casual and somewhat trendy, leaning more towards casual. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive. We very much felt like our business was appreciated, which is something that is too often missing these days. They have a variety of entrees from sandwiches to actual dinners. We just had a Cuban sandwich, but it was SO good, I have to imagine the rest of the menu is great, too. Plus the prices are super reasonable, especially considering the other choices in the area. The combination of quality of food and service, as well as the value for my dollar, I would definitely return, as well as recommend this spot to anyone. Great place.

Fresh bread. Not to salty, Well Balanced. One of the Best Cuban sandwich I can find in Wisconsin.

Wonderful dinner with an exceptional waitress. She helped with suggestions and told us about Cuba. Had the plaintain platter- delicious with guacamole and another sauce, a plaintain cruster salmon with a mango sauce on veggies with yellow rice, an empanada with raisins and olives and the ribs. The mojitos were tasty and on sale. As a lactose intolerant person- I can eat butter, it was wonderful to have so many options! And I was able to eat their dessert! So grateful.

I am a sucker for a good Cuban sandwich, and the one at Cubanitas is one I will keep returning for. Admittedly, after trying the Cuban on my first visit, I haven't explored much else on the menu, but that's a testament to how good it is. It scratches all of the boxes of a traditional Cuban - ham, pork, pickles, mustard on pressed Cuban bread. It's up there with one of my favorites regardless of location. During the lunch hour they are counter service only, which is pretty efficient. A number of different mojitos are available, as well as other beverages if you're looking to power lunch it or are looking for an evening libation. Cubanitas will continue to be a regular stop whenever I'm in Milwaukee.

For a moment, just a moment, this place took me back to Calle Ocho in Miami. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is of a place right out of Havana.

What in the world is this thing??!Because it's anything but Cuban, it is actually an offense to all cubans !!!I don't even think they have anything from Cuba or Cuban in there, it should be called "cuban-wanna-be", from the service, to the worship wall to some woman that I don't even know, very distasteful. And the prices... Really?Do you consider that the parking is NOT free, and the service is awful?People should save their money and go to eat real Cuban food in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, St Augustine, Tampa, etc., and discover that they have been fooled for a while...
