I told Jeremiah I was going to leave a review rather good or bad. Well, my South Louisiana tastebuds approve. The atmosphere is great. There were a lot of options such as cabbage, black eye peas, Mac and cheese, yams, and so forth. I highly recommend to anyone who travels to the area.

We stop here will in Milwaukee and we were not disappointed. We had a large group (15 plus people) and the wait wasn’t long at all. The catfish was fresh and made to order and the service felt like family. They gave great portion sizes and my kids ate all their food and still wanted more! I highly recommend. I forgot to take a picture before eating.

My husband drove15 miles to this restaurant only to arrive home with EXTREMELY salty collard greens. It tasted like eating a tablespoon of raw salt. It was awful. We wound up throwing away 6 total sides of collard greens the purchase of 3 catfish dinners. My husband who loves himself some salt couldn’t even bare it. The catfish was over salted too. Maybe cook was having a bad day? However, when you’re messing with people’s stomach and money you need to be on 24/7, no excuses. Overall, food is good. We’ve noticed things seem to be slacking on the food front though. Maybe “Daddy” needs to check in on the kiddos, since they seem to be running the day to day business. If you want to charge the big bucks which people are willing to pay, your food needs to be great! Staff is friendly and respectful. Uhm, put those cellphones downs when people/customers are in front of you. It reads to the general public as rude and that you’re ignoring them.

All of their food taste like my Mama's and Grandmother's food?, who are great cooks! They have a variety of sides...greens, sweet potatoes, green beans, cornbread dressing, Mac n cheese, among others. Meatloaf, lasagna, baked n fried chicken, BBQ ribs, fried catfish among others. Mouth watering good! They have gift cards as well.
