Cute coffee shop with a variety of unique drinks! I got a flora latte upon the barista’s rec, and it was delicious (but pretty expensive at $7.32 for an 8oz). The service was great, the coffee shop itself was cozy, and the bathrooms were clean. Overall, highly recommend if you want to try something different (wide selection w/interesting options)!

We had a great experience visiting today. The staff is very friendly and helped us through the menu of drink options. This is a great place to visit for trying something that is experimental. All our beverages were delicious!! We will definitely visit again to try there other specials.
I have to preface this with saying the staff did not contribute to a low score.I had wanted to check out Discourse after seeing an article online and then checking out the experimental menu online. Upon arrival the drinks I was looking for weren’t posted on the ordering board but instead on small clipboards, which isn’t a big deal but with a large line, it’s difficult to decide what you’d like when other customers are using them. When I was able to order I was told that the drinks I wanted were from the following week and they now had a new experimental menu and could try something from that. I chose at random since the line was building, the cashier was apologetic as one of my choices was out of stock, so I picked again.I then waited 15 minutes for my drinks which were supposed to be to-go but were in mugs. Not the end of the world, but I felt bad having to tell the baristas that I wanted them to go since the drinks were well crafted and beautifully presented.It wasn’t until walking to the car when we found the coffees to be luke-warm and almost undrinkable. I can take the blame for not necessarily knowing what I was ordering, but when paying ~$25 (with tip) for two tiny drinks they should at least be enjoyable. Maybe just stick to their normal menu, not the experimental one.

Unique lattes that make this a special coffee shop to come to in Milwaukee. I had the experimental Pirate Lyfe latte and I somewhat regret that decision. There was a distinct bitterness that didn’t go well with the other flavors. The atmosphere of the cafe is very calm and this makes a great place to read or study. The worker was nice and the latte making process is very visible. It was a cool place but it could’ve been better.

Discourse coffee transforms into a super cool hybrid cocktail lounge at night! Hybrid means you can get anything on the menu alcoholic or nonalcoholic! The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They had 3 experimental cocktails as well as classic cocktails. All the experimental were really unique and the presentations were so fun! I would recommend trying one! The classic cocktails were phenomenal! The aviation, Saturn and margarita were all SO good. Highly recommend checking Agency out! It has made my list for top cocktail bars in mke!
