Great Food. Great Service. The decor is very kitschy. Someone born before 1980 wouldn't get the decorations but they might be amazed that their parents would have ever been interested by that stuff. Also the electronics there are pre-historic by the Gen W-X-Y-Z etc people.
The staff, especially Giselle were like ninjas! We had a massive group of 12 (10 teenagers), and they were absolutely on top of everything! VERY attentive. They checked in regularly. There was an ease and a comfort from the staff who all worked so well together! I was blown away. We loved the fiod. The shakes were so fun! We all had an incredible experience and my daughter had a GREAT birthday! We cannot thank you enough! :)
This was a really fun experience. Loved the speak easy pop culture vibe. I would high recommend this for a fun night out. Make a reservation so you don't have to wait. The menu is diner food, so expect options like burgers, chicken, fries, tots and shakes. Plenty of 7up available too ;) our waitress was friendly and attentive and the service was quick even on the busy night we were there. Overall, I highly recommend Don's, but don't expect to get your TV fixed.
Service was actually the best that I've had in a really long time. I was very impressed and the server was very accommodating with the four kids that we had. The food was pretty good too. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!
Worst meal I've had out in years. Local press must be getting paid for their reviews. If visitors rely on those reviews this is an embarrassment and unfair to the many really good restaurants.
The venue was cool and kitschy, but the service was absolutely terrible. The server was rude and took forever to come to our table. He then disappeared after our food was dropped off. I had to go track someone down to get our bill. The hostess then delivered it and left (without taking our cards). I had to take the bill up to the front, where she apologized that our server had to "step out for an emergency." Then as we left he was back. I understand having an emergency.....but why did no one come back to let us know or to check.....also all of the staff had the same exact demeanor.....where you were bothering them. Too bad because it was cool looking.
This was more than a meal this was AN EXPERIENCE!!!! Food was amazing only to be enhanced by the experience!!! Fun!!! AWESOME MUSIC!!!!!Great decor❤️and FUN concept!!! We will definitely be suggesting this to anyone else we know who likes to travel!!! Thanks for all the memories!!!!!
Our server was very nice but absent minded and very slow. We sat for about 30 mins. before receiving water and having our drink order taken. Then another 15-20 mins before the drinks arrived. The food was quicker because other people delivered it. We asked our server for salt/pepper, hot sauce and extra napkins when our food arrived, but never received them. Our server visited our table one more time and never acknowledged the misstep. She didn't ask if we wanted anything else, so we decided to take the check. Bummer
We took 4 14 yr olds out for a 15th birthday. We were in the Star Wars bar part which was perfect. Some of the boys just got massive shakes n fries. We also had cheese fries (awesome), bacon cheeseburgers & a scramble. Everyone was happy n full! Glad we went. Fun!
Food was disappointing. Ordered a burger and it wasn't anything special. Honestly reminded me of a McDonalds burger.

Disappointed the secret door was halfway open. In the reservation I mentioned it was for a birthday no special treat. I thought it was expensive(3 people just over 90$) Don't know if I would go back.
We were really excited to bring our kids to this restaurant, especially because of the secret password and hidden entrance — such a fun concept! I've been to similar themed places before where the staff really gets into character and makes it a memorable experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. The hostess was disengaged and seemed inexperienced. She made no effort to interact with the kids or make us feel welcome, either when we arrived or when we were seated. It felt like just another task to her, which was disappointing given the unique setup. The food was a major letdown — most of it went uneaten. The service wasn't much better. Our server never checked in to see how the meal was, and refills didn't arrive until after we'd already finished eating. With a mandatory 20% service fee added to the bill, the lack of attentiveness was frustrating. For the $100 we spent, I could've had a better meal and experience at a supper club. The restaurant itself was uncomfortably hot and too dark. Worst of all, the fun theme that drew us in was completely missing from the actual experience. Overall, very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Atmosphere was unique and creative . Food was very poor quality. Burger was tough and not fresh and bun was soggy, fish was not fresh. Milk shakes were melted and thin.
Atmosphere was great. The hamburgers looked like we went to McDonald's, the shakes were amazing.
Honestly, we booked our reservation in advance to secure a time slot. The place was hot / muggy - service was non existent - took 25 minutes to get drinks then with our food on the table still a hostess slid a $10 off our next “repair” visit & told us we had to leave due to the next reservations arrival. I was so embarrassed that I picked this spot for a date night. Totally different from when they first opened. Lesson learned
