First time here. Recommended to me by a friend. It is a nice location, just a short distance from the lake. They have patio seating outside, although it was a little too cold for that today, and a decent size seating area inside. There are different size tables for two, four, or larger groups. It is located on a corner, with lots of tall windows that let in plenty of sunshine.

When we arrived at 10am, there were a few other small groups and no wait to get our order in. I got a London Fog Tea Latte and a chocolate chip scone. No issues with getting my latte in a mug with a little lavender and vanilla. They were also able to warm up the scone.

After a little while, which is required for the right amount of steeping, the drink was ready. They did a great job. The texture was right and the flavor was good. It could have been a bit hotter, and I really need to remember to ask for that. My bad. The scone was also very good. It had the right scone texture, not like a muffin pretending to be a scone. A little dry and crumbly.

Over the next two hours the space filled up quite a bit more, but the noise level was never too loud to make conversation difficult. People were having quiet conversations and it stayed comfortable.

Would definitely come back again.

I love the look of this place and the may seating options. The swings near the counter are a cool touch. I have to say that the coffee really isn't my cup of tea. I've ordered from their seasonal menu and found the coffee to be bitter and watery, while I personally like coffee on the sweeter side. But the muffins are top notch! I loved the pumpkin muffin!

Great coffee & menu selection for local neighborhood joint. Industrial decor with focus on old fair signage.

I wanted to like this place but I have been here multiple times and it just is never really good. Their coffee always tastes burnt and even if you order a flavored coffee with syrup it still tastes watery and not flavorful. Got a sandwhich for the first time just to try it and it was on of the lowest quality sandwhichs with brown avocado, wilted lettuce, and terrible quality bread. I only went because it was the closest thing nearby but will not being going back again.

Good vibe for a coffee shop. My work VPN didn’t let me get into their password less WiFi but other than that it was a great experience!

Very cozy Coffee Shop.
Reminds me the European style with a great interior decoration.
The Chai Latte was very tasty and warm as I asked. A little pricy for my pocket but good.

Cute cafe nestled between lakefront and downtown. The atmosphere here stands out the most. Food and drink were a bit overpriced imho. They were good but not as good as stone creek coffee.

Stopped here to get a coffee while my brother raced in the National Triathlon.
The service was prompt, but not super funny. I got a weird look when I asked ice.
My boyfriend loved the caramel cold brew frappe.
I ordered an iced latte, but didn’t care for the espresso - tasted a little burnt.

But the vibe was chill, the AC was strong and it was a pleasant experience.

Barista was very pleasant and nice. Ordered an Açaí bowl, it required a straw to drink (not eat), completely melted. I asked if it could be redone and a very nice waitress brought back the same bowl in less than a minute after the staff tossed the bowl in what seemed like the freezer. I asked for a (what one would think is a standard açaí bowl) and I was brought more soup and dust like granola.

People and atmosphere are nice. Recommend only coffee.

I want to like this place, it’s cute, but everything else is underwhelming. i want to like the food, but it’s so inconsistent whether your breakfast sandwich will have the sauce it’s supposed to come with or not (this may be a to-go problem). the staff seem to be in a bad mood, and once my iced latte with honey was made so the honey just sat at the bottom (can we mix it with the hot espresso?). i’m getting tired of spending money here and wishing i hadn’t.

The food was yummy, the place is pretty, bathrooms are clean and the staff are nice, my only complaint is the price. I got a breakfast sausage burrito, and a 12oz mocha with oat milk, my total was about $21. Now I thought with that price the burrito would be very filling or at the very least large and the mocha have more umph to it. That was not the case, now I’m not saying it was super small, it doesn’t fit the price tag. This is a place to come to as soon as the paycheck hits and you’re feeling rich. It can be compared to those millennial burger places that look very nice and have decent food, but the prices are through the roof.

TLDR:
Food: 8/10 (pretty good, at least their sausage breakfast burrito which is what I had)
Atmosphere: 10/10 (they even have little swings)
Customer service: 10/10 (very patient and kind)
0 (it’s a bit over priced, but not scam levels)
Overall: 33/40, a B or 83%

This place was pretty good when I first started going but after each visit I get reminded again why I don’t go here anymore. The cafe itself is very cute and the food is good but it takes a pretty long time. The drinks are expensive and not very good, they are also always out of something. I’ve ordered ahead a few times and it’s the nitro cold brew from tap (when it’s available, it’s usually out) and my drink isn’t poured until after the pick up time and I end up standing there for 10 minutes anyways so it doesn’t really pay to order ahead. The staff is nice but maybe they need a little more help in the early busier times.
