Our first time at a Wisconsin supper club/steakhouse. Kristi was an ABSOLUTELY fantastic server. She greeted us within seconds and explained how everything worked there. We started off with two delicious cocktails, two seafood apps, and the fantastic salad, homemade dressings, bread, & relish tray! My partner and I shared a porterhouse (there is a $12 plate fee which was fine for us and the server did mention it in case that would be a hindrance to someone) and we added bleu cheese to it. The medium rare steak with the crusty outside was absolutely perfect. We finished the meal with another round of delicious cocktails & a complimentary piece of key lime pie for our anniversary. I loved the vibes of the place and as we walked out there was live music. I also appreciate that the GM (an assumption) stopped by to check on us. I truly cannot wait to get back to town so we can dine here again- it was a fantastic end to our vacation.

Service and vibe, this place has both and more, we felt like I stepped back in time. I rarely order prime rib and stick with traditional steak cuts but this prime rib was excellent. My girl had the bacon wrapped filet cooked perfect. Creamed spinach yes please, mash potatoes excellent. Really good Tiramisu with a surprisingly decent espresso.Don’t forget the great cocktails and ask for Faye!

Expensive but worth it. It's definitely not a place you go to weekly. Party of 6 with a few drinks and trip set me back a bit over $1K

I had heard great things about this restaurant, it did not disappoint. Steaks, beverages, and service were phenomenal. We will be back for sure.

50th wedd anniv. - gave us table by kitchen. we waited 30 mins for a table IN the dining room.My porterhouse not good - gristle. served us 5 courses in 50 minutes. could not eat fast enough. Forget relaxed conversation. This place not what it used to be. Great history but not the experience/ quality it used to be. oh well… lots of great places in Milwaukee.

WOW!!! Every time I come in, I’m even more speechless. Suzanne was great, Zadie was great, and our food was even better. What’s better than a 16oz filet and 2 lobster tails? Their creamed spinach! Outstanding experience as always! Best restaurant in

It's been years since I've been here. Table was ready and waiting for the six of us. I can't say which was better: the food, service or ambiance. It started with the valet parking to the smile on my face. It is a special place for a special experience. Thank you!! PS one in the group mentioned the ribs were too spicy (peppery) for his taste.

You order all the food at the bar then your table is ready soon ..salad, relish tray and bread are on table. I WISH PICKLED HERRING WAS included with the relish tray!!! The steaks are delicious. They all come on a plate full of dark gravy with mushrooms on the plate. The gravy is delicious with the plain mashed potatoes no frills the mashed potatoes soak up the gravy. Oh my God it was so good!! Steaks are done medium rare perfectly -- i recommend skipping the shrimp cocktail. The 5 shrimp are hard and rubbery for $20 --but everything else was so good. The salad is large. The dressings are delicious. The hot bread is good. French onion soup is so good. It's one of the best I've ever had... the tiramisu at the end, try it. You'll love it. It's delicious. Everything was really good. This place rocks! People who complain about their steaks and blah blah blah are just in general--complainers...this place is good. Excellent -delicious and half the price of going to a steakhouse in Chicago. Thank you for a great time. Its funny they valet your car when the parking lot is right next door but id rather have someone out there keeping watch on the cars more than not!!

My husband requested a great steak place for a celebratory dinner last week. We'd heard great things about Five O'Clock. We had an early reservation and we were seated immediately. We ordered cocktails and then asked the waiter if we could order an appetizer to eat while we had our drinks. He informed us that we needed to order our entire meal at the same time, but he would be sure to space our the courses for us. After a few minutes, we ordered an appetizer, our entrees, and side dishes. Within a few minutes, our salad (covered in plastic wrap) arrived along with some bread, honey, and a relish tray. We asked about our appetizer, and he told us it was coming next. While we were eating our salad, our appetizer arrived. We pushed our salads aside and started eating our appetizer. We were still eating that when our entrees arrived. This just seemed so rushed and out of order. We were very disappointed that we couldn't enjoy a more leisurely meal. Our steaks were divine. Everything else was just ok. The additional cost of the Oscar option for our steaks seemed like a waste. The calamari was no better than much lower quality restaurants and arrived with just one small cup of marinara. We won't hurry back. But if you do decide to go, enjoy your cocktail and just order a nice steak.

THE place for steaks in Milwaukee. Old school supper club that has been around since 1946! That's right, over 75 years and running! A landmark restaurant in Milwaukee. As soon as you walk in, you are transported back in time to the classic Wisconsin supper club scene, with wood paneled walls and old pictures hanging around a massive bar. The hostess will tell you to grab a cocktail at said bar and order your food from there as well. We did as we were told, and we ordered a couple of cocktails. I ordered probably the best sidecar I've ever had. Once you have ordered your dinner and saddled up with the bartender, your waiter will take you to your table where a bowl of salad, a relish tray and warm bread await you. Don't gorge too much on the salad and bread however, because when the steak you ordered comes out, you will regret it! We ordered a porterhouse and shared it between the two of us, and I'm glad we did! It was massive and probably the best steak I've ever eaten. They cook it just right, medium rare, and a little charred on the outside. It was incredibly tender and juicy. We told the waitress it was our anniversary, and she comped us a slice of Key lime pie, which was also incredible. To top it off, we ordered a dessert drink, a Brandy Alexander, a favor of ours at any supper club we visit. It was very boozy! A nice way to end an incredible meal and experience. It's not cheap but I didn't feel the prices were outrageous either for what you get. They have live music every Friday and Saturday at the bar, and there is additional seating upstairs in the Alley Cat Lounge. A gem of a restaurant, this place is fantastic. The atmosphere, drinks and food can't be beat. A must visit for anyone in the Milwaukee area!

The experience was good.. however it took a turn for the worse when our dinner arrived... the ribs where very tough, could barely cut through with a knife.. my husbands expensive surf and turf, crab legs were very good.. 16 oz fillet came raw when ordering medium plus and when sent back.. came back so charred the top/bottom taste burnt. Very expensive prices compared to other high end steak houses .. would have been ok paying that much if the food was better..

This is what stellar service is about, people greeting and interacting with you, everyone, and I mean absolutely everyone, the valet, the bartender, the bussers, saying “I hope you enjoy your meal”. Attention to detail. Not making us feel like an imposition. And amazing food and drinks. Not feeling rushed and enjoying our time with friends was a true experience we loved.
