Wow. Not sure what I just ate, but it had NO TASTE WHATSOEVER. I kept hearing about how good their chicken sandwiches were, and it was so sloppy and tasteless, I was dumbfounded, and especially disappointed. How can you make fried chicken look so good but have no taste. It must've just been a bad one, I hope, but if they weren't closing soon, I'd never go back again anyways. Yikes. Frustrating after you crave something and $30 later you are still hungry because you got robbed of taste.

The war is over, Foxfire has won the chicken sandwich wars. Everyone else brought a knife to a gunfight. Foxfire brought a nuclear bomb.You don't need a knife. It was the juiciest most tender chicken sandwich ever.And the popcorn! So delicious!

I have never tasted a lunch sandwich so fresh and hot! I was on my way to have a quick lunch with my blue collar mechanic hubby. This place was a cold call for me based on their reviews. WE weren’t disappointed. I ordered 2 pork sandwiches. They came out of the bag hot, hefty, and smelled incredible. My muscle man managed to finish his but I couldn’t. Believe me, I wanted too. We can’t wait to stop in again. Only con: *****they had moved locations and I didn’t know where. There old place was kind enough to give me the new location. *****

This place has amazing hot chicken sandwiches. We absolutely loved them. I feel like most food trucks can be a little pricey but honestly I would pay these prices again for this chicken sandwich. The chicken wasn't too hot which worked well for my wife who can't handle too much heat, but the flavor was excellent. The Baller sandwich has really good cheese, cabbage, and pickles. The classic sandwich is exactly what you'd hope for. Pickles, mayo, and good chicken. We got the tomato brie pesto sandwich was pretty decent. Fresh tomatoes, flavorful pesto, and brie. But honestly, I was all about the chicken sandwiches. The brown butter popcorn was really unique. My wife noted that it basically was like Mexican street corn (elote) in popcorn form. She wasn't wrong! An interesting treat. All in all. The chicken sandwiches were well worth it and I could see myself eating there again. Go support this small business!

I had their pesto brie cheese sandwich two weeks and was blown away. This time, not so much. I was actually disappointed. No seasoning and was not Warm like the last time..Will try something different next time

This review is long overdue. We checked out Fox Fire Food Truck at the Zocalo Food Park. Their chicken sandwiches are absolutely massive and both the Banh Mi Style and the "Baller" Hot Fried Chicken Sandwiches were well worth the wait. Offering very affordable prices, their sandwiches were full of flavor, crunchiness and just the right amount of heat which left us very happy (and full). Check them out when you can - you won't be disappointed!

This place is AMAZING!! Seriously, the best sandwich I've had in a while. I ordered the Eggplant 'meatball' sandwich and wish I could eat this every day. It was so good. Very crispy and flavorful. It was saucy, but not overwhelming which I loved. And the hoagie bun was perfect! My friend also got the brussel sprouts that I tried and they were very good as well with the spicy sauce. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Always great quality food and wonderful customer service with easy and convenient curbside pick up.Definitely my favorite hot fried chicken in Milwaukee. Plus there’s their food truck at the Zocalo servin’ up just the same.

Waited for 15 mins after they notified me the food was ready, the fries were soggy, the burger was way too salty and greasy. It basically fell apart in my hands, the burger pattys included. Ive had other things from them that were good but the burger and fries I got from them was terrible.

I don't have a ranking system for best chicken sandwiches, but if I did Foxfire's Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich would rank really high on my list. Extremely crispy, juicy and so so flavorful. In terms of spice I'd give it a 1/10 - it'd be great if there was some more spice or some kind of sauce to give it more of a kick, but overall a delicious chicken sandwich :)

Amazing food. I'm not a spicy fan, but their version of spicy is so flavorful that I LOVED it! The staff were so great. Go into hawthorne while you wait for your food and get the best coffeeon the south side, probably best in MKE.
