The team there is communicative, accommodating, friendly, energetic, and always willing to do their part in helping a vision come life. The space is beautiful, and the staff is knowledgeable and experienced. Fun Night at Freight 38!
I attended a private event at Freight 38, and it was such a great time! The atmosphere was lively, the music was on point, and the whole space had a really fun vibe. It’s a perfect spot for parties or special events — plenty of room to dance, mingle, and enjoy the night.
Definitely a place I’d go back to for another event!

Great venue with a bar for your event. Not sure if they are open on a regular basis. Bring your own vision for decor and own food allowed.
They don't serve there, but the ambience and drinks were great! Nice sound system.. pleasant people, great vibe!

So ordered a bottle of Don Julio, it was 200 Kool, but then the bartender adds on 50 bucks. Mind you we paid 100 bucks for reserved seating. Went for Afro beats. Love the atmosphere but that's was not it. We buy bottles when we go out and never had the bartender be rude, when asking about the extra 50 she stated they automatically charge that cuz we bought a bottle . Didn't say nothing about the extra 50 when we asked how much the bottle was...just handed us the receipt with the 50 already added. Then told us after. So we chalked it up to maybe we getting a bottle girl. We got one alright...no bottle flairs ,a weak two step dance with a couple aaayyeees...NEVA again. I will come again for the vibes but no money for bottles will be spent.

We recently hosted my sister’s party at this venue, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The space was clean, well-maintained, and just the perfect vibe for our event. We did run into a minor fluke, but Adam handled it quickly and professionally. It’s clear they care about their guests and take pride in their service. We’d definitely book here again in the future!

I attended Poetry night, which takes place every Tuesday night at Freight 38. Street parking was available. There was seating for maybe 15 at the bar. The tables and chairs were set up for poetry night in the back room area. They had nice drink specials, a great selection of food available. I didn't try anything that night, but it looked great, and everyone I asked said the food was good. The vibe was positive and welcoming.
