George Webb Restaurant - Howell Ave

We make a yearly pilgrimage to Wisconsin for the Fourth of July. And we always stop here for a late night dinner after the long plane ride. Absolutely recommend, friendly staff, and well kept. Definitely worth a stop

Menu style similar to Danny's. Service was horrible semi cold/frozen appetizers and greasy plate, the server not once came to check on us or something else was needed. Maybe ok for the locals, but for this traveler is a hard NO!!!!

I've ordered multiple times here and never had an issue until tonight. Found a long hair in my food.

Last night was quite the treat! Food was hot, staff friendly, pricing a bit higher than I remember, but if the food is like that, it's worth it!

Return trip. We have always enjoyed GW. Good food, nice service, fast service! Two employees get it done! ?

The cook there is a awesome person! Took the time to ask what I actually wanted and was more than willing to bend the menu and make something custom. Top notch customer service, very friendly, deserves a raise!

We tried to buy a shirt at this place and the one we wanted was on display. They would not sell it to us. Very disappointing, especially since it was faded and wed be advertising for them.

Late night better than Waffle House

Webb's was the place to go after the bars closed! Now, this was in my weekend party stage 100 years ago, in Tosa!
I've been out of state for 20+ years & wanted to check this place out. I got a dbl cheeseburger and fries to go. I was a bit disappointed with the burger, it didn't have a good taste. Fries were good.
There was only 1 other customer. The staff was nice.
Probably won't be back.

It's George website. It's a landmark

As someone hailing from North Carolina I can say with confidence that George Webb is the Waffle House of Milwaukee. It is greasy spoon diner food that is exactly what you would expect. Bacon was crispy, eggs were cooked well, and overall for what it is, it was tasty. Service was good but a little chaotic. They had July fourth and Easter decor up at the same time in mid August. I absolutely loved it and would totally go back if I was in the area again.
