My friend and I ended up here on a Saturday night when the wait was too long at the Mexican joint down the street. I am so glad we did! Very friendly and charming fellow behind the counter. I ordered the mushroom and swiss burger medium rare and it was AMAZING! Great experience, delicious burgers and fun employees. Will definitely go again.

Gordo Burger is by far above and beyond any and all burger places in and around the Bay View area. The service was impeccable, and the burger.... I cannot even find words that would do their food justice.All I can do is suggest that if you like burgers to give them a try you will not be sorry, in fact you will more likely than not to become a regular customer. Don't take my word for it stop in and see for yourself how well the food is made and how fast and friendly the service is.

This was quite an experience. The place doesn't look like much from the outside and the interior is small, plain and simple. The menu is limited but the food is the star here. We had the El fuego burger and the beef-lamb kafta burger and a side of waffle fries. Both burgers were cooked perfectly and had great flavor and the fries were some of the best I have ever had. The beef-lamb burger was outstanding, juicy with tons of flavor and something for which I will probably be making another trip to the restaurant soon as I can't seem to get it out of my mind.The staff was great, very accomodating and friendly. It was, overall, a great experience.

We ate at Gordo Burger for the first time last night before the Elton John concert and it was amazing! Clean, pleasant, fun atmosphere. Nice bar. We both had the Big Swiss burger. Both burgers were big, juicy and cooked perfectly. We also had the seasoned waffles fries and they were delicious! The service was wonderful - super fast & very friendly. Cleo gave us great recommendations! Would 10/10 recommend Gordo Burger to anyone wanting an amazing gourmet burger and at a great price.

My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new today and we stumbled upon Gordo Burger. INCREDIBLE burgers with a wide array of toppings to choose from at a reasonable price. The service was very quick and the employees were super friendly! I would absolutely recommend stopping by this family-owned restaurant next time you go out.

At first we thought it would not be good because there was no one there but they might have a lot of carry out orders and lunchtime crowds. The burger was delicious!! The onion rings were delicious!! We will return!!

Completely unprofessional business. Ordered food for carryout during their hours of operation for pickup. Business charges my card, gives me an approximate pickup time for order, and they're not open...at 11:29 AM on a Friday. The door is locked the lights are off, and not a soul inside. This is the third time I've personally experienced this, as well as acquaintances having similar situations. Never ordering from them again. Done. Now I have to dispute charges.

But I Have To Dip My Fries In BBQ Sauce & They Don't Have Any So I Didn't Eat Many Of Them. Nothing To Hold Against Them. That's All Me. Worth A Try! Would Likely Return To Try A Build Your Own.
I ate here once, around when it first opened, my friend mentioned this place and I realized I never left a review. Extremely overpriced for less than mediocre food. This is the kind of place you'd expect by the college or near the bars for drunks who don't care how much they are paying a plain (which it sounds like they aren't but they are) burger. I can't see this place lasting here for very long, nobody I know that's tried it thought it was worth it. Oscars has better burgers than this place.

This place is slipping. The place looks like it was under construction. The burger was cooked "well done" when my son and I asked for "medium rare". It is not a big deal unless someone asks hiw I want it done. The flavor was not what I remember. We were in a hurry, so unable to ask for it to be recooked. If you want pepper, you have to get an entire packet of pre-wrapped to-go plasticware. If you want two packets, you have to waste two of them. It was a fairly warm day (40), but the seating at the counter by the window was quite cold. All the plants hanging above the counter by the windows were dead or dying due to no watering. Sounds like it is under new management and it seams like the new owners are not running it up to the standards it used to be.

I've lived in Bay View for a couple years now and when this place popped up I was like oh great, a burger place for this vegetarian. So of course I never went. But it was still intriguing, I mean it's 2021, why wouldn't you have a vegetarian option. Well I took a leap and looked at their menu and they DO have vegetarian options!! And they're DELICIOUS!The "Amazing Falafel Burger" is 1/2 pound falafel patty, pickled turnips, lettuce, tomato, onion, tahini sauce, and my ultimate favorite! Soooo good! They also have a "Where's the Beef Burger" with 1/2 pound impossible patty, harissa mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion. That one is a standard one, but still good.You can get a drink and fries on the side, but beware, it's going to be a big serving of food. But I still can't stop eating those "Waffle Fries"....At the end of the day, check em out! The staff is great and friendly. The food is quick and affordable, especially for the portions.

Me and my fiancé got the lau burger the one with pineapple and bacon. Go pick up the order an it didn’t even have the pineapple or bacon…. Thankfully we checked before we left. Took it in an they took care of it good customer service. However the burgers were tasteless. The bacon had more flavor than the burger. The brioche bun wasn’t what I was expecting either it was also bland. Over all 25 ish bucks for 2 bland burgers wasn’t worth it. We got our burgers medium and that’s what we got but even at at the burgers were bland. Overall they need to atleast season the patties.
