I love going to Grassroots to get a nice salad, I work a couple buildings over and its a quick walk away when I don't put together a lunch myself. There is indoor seating for groups or individuals. You can build your own salad or customize one of their signature options.
I usually order ahead, the Santa Fe salad with quinoa and tofu, and they have it ready when I arrive! You start by choosing your fresh greens, spinach, spring mix, romaine lettuce, and/or quinoa. Then a protein and any extras. Customizing one of the signature salads, you can swap ingredients too! The salads are a great size for the price and filling!

Ordered two different smoothies the dr roots beet smoothie and a green smoothie with chia seeds both were really good and priced decently however because I used door dash the price increased by additional $30 unfortunately. All in all aside from the additional cost I was Very Very pleased with my order. Everything was healthy, fresh and delicious.

First time here and I got a regular Cesar salad with egg. I was surprised how big it was for a regular, it was worth $14. Everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. I bought my MacBook, so I was here for 2 hours and the atmosphere was great. The workers were friendly and helpful.

Thankfully, Grassroots has reached out to us after the issues my supervisor and I experienced with our order. They reached out to Doordash and a refund is processing. I advise not to order through Doordash, as it's difficult to get refunded if necessary, even if pictures of the issue are sent. Just order directly through Grassroots.
Seemed like the lady had a bad day when i arrived and talking down on to customers like they were slow. Probably one of the most awkwardest interactions of my life.

Sure miss them at Brookfield Square. I'm glad I was in the area to get my absolute most favorite salad! Worth every penny! Everything is fresh. Staff is kind. Clean restaurant and restroom. They have the BEST ranch dressing!

I hate leaving bad reviews but I was eating my salad when I took a bite that tasted weird and when I spit it out I realized my salad was full of large green bugs. How this was not caught if the lettuce was cleaned properly amazes me I am completely disgusted.
