The new owners of this spot were very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the 3 meat combo with fried onions and tomatoes on top. My dinner plate came with either fries, rice, or a salad. I opted for fries and they were hot, fresh, and crispy just like i like them. The gyro, steak, and chicken shishkabob meat was prepared to perfection....very tender and tasty. The portions were very generous and the cost was reasonable. I will definitely be back to try some of the other items from their extensive menu.

The gyro deluxe was ok. However the beef kabob had chunks of meat that were cut way too thick for a sandwich. Plus, the beef was tough, chewy and chocked full of sinew. I agree with others, Gyro Stand is not as good as its former tenant Gyro27. Its menu doesn't have as many Greek items. The staff had no idea what moussaka or spanakopita were. I brought baklava home and will try it later.

Formerly “Gyro 27” Now… Total garbage. Where do I begin. Gyro meat different, no flavor, with half the portion size. Fries used to be great. Now tastes like frozen out of bag cheap fries. Our family favorite was the rice pilaf with lamb sauce. They gave us sticky rice with some crap sauce served in a plastic basket with paper insert. What, no paper plates? Oh and they refused to give a glass of water until I pointed out a sign on wall that said they will give you one if you ask. What a bummer. I will never go again. New owner wrecked this place.

Walked in and there were hardly any lights on, no gyro meat on the rotisserie machine. Asked if they were open and the lady said yeah but was talking to someone on the phone at the same time. We asked why there was no fresh meat and she whispered something under her breath. The grade A level paper on their door says as of 2019 on the back. That was 6 years ago. Wasn’t brave enough to try their food so I walked out immediately.

Ordered a few gyro platters and was pleasantly surprised when told soft drinks are included with each one... got home and opened everything up and came to the sad, baffling realization that there is NO feta cheese, NO kalamata olives, and NO peppers. ...aren't these items pretty much essential staples in a gyro meal? Despite the meat and bread being above par, without the feta my gyro was quite underwhelming. These may seem like small things, which I guess they are... but absolutely essential to a good gyro. Disappointed!

Very lackadaisical attitude toward service hours. I expect that if a restaurant opens at 11am, that food will be to be served at 11am. I went there to get lunch to go. One day I sat waiting for them to open until 11:15. No one ever showed up to even open. The next day they started drifting in at 11:10 & 11:15 & told food would be ready in 30 minutes. I will NEVER go to this haphazard place again. Obviously they have NO respect for customer's time.
