The clientele at this place is a horror show. One night, I couldn't sleep so I figured I'd head on down here for some pizza and beers. The music on the system was very bad and waaaay too loud. The pizza is OK bar pizza, it is made on what is clearly a pre-fabricated frozen crust, but is still pretty decent considering you are at a dive bar. The beer selection is poor, there's just macros on tap with the exception of Riverwest Stein, which was flat. Most of the clientele was drunk beyond recognition, which is fine, it's a dive bar. What I found unacceptable was the following. So I'm sitting there enjoying my pizza and flat beer, and this lady comes in and sits at the bar next to me. She is obviously homeless or living out of a car, she smells like a toilet, and she is clearly already waaaay beyond drunk and maybe on something else as well; she can barely stand, can't form a coherent sentence whatsoever, and is being generally gross and annoying. She orders a [big] glass of whiskey and attempts to pay for it WITH A CHECK as she has no money. The bartender says they don't take checks. She then starts asking people for money. A good responsible bartender would decline service to someone who is in this state of mind, and for the sake of the paying customers around, maybe politely escort them out. Instead, the bartender goes ahead and serves this person MORE ALCOHOL on an I.O.U. So now I have this insanely belligerent slobbering stinky drunk bum next to me, getting even more wasted. Thanks a lot Ms. Bartender. Lost my appetite for both beer and pizza, paid my bill and left. Just absolutely gross in there. Never again.

This place is just your typical neighborhood corner bar. However... the pizza sets this place apart. It's FANTASTIC! Thin, crispy, cheesy, not super greasy. And cheap! Ordered my pie "slightly well done". It was perfectly cooked. Can't wait to go back

Nice neighborhood bar on a corners of Beloit, Lincoln & 68th Sts. Five slots, darts and an AMI jukebox. You can shake dice while you're waiting for your food too.If you order the garlic bread, you get eight 2"x3" pieces with some pizza sauce on the side. Good. They have 12" and 16" crusts to choose from. All the toppings are extra, no meat or vegetarian specials to choose from. I got a 16" sausage, mushroom, onion and green pepper. The thin was crust crisp and the cheese, gooey. Very good. Next time I'll ask for more oregano and maybe black olives.$20 for a 16"(large)cheese, toppings on a large are $2 each. I will return. 11/21/2023

The cheesy garlic bread!!!It is a narrow, long bar, and can get a little crowded, but oh my.... that garlic bread.I would endure many things for that garlic bread.The pizza isn't bad either.It's often busy, but the servers really do work to get you served.There is usually Sports on the tv. A few gambling machines. Good drinks...... But the bread. It could be a meal on its own.
This is what makes Wisconsin great! I went for Packers Sunday football got three beers chicken wings sloppy joes taco salad pasta salad chips and dip for 6.99 and healthy gratuity.
