The food itself was enjoyable, but the overall experience fell far short of expectations. The restaurant seems to fancy itself a Michelin‑caliber hotspot—with six‑month waits and lines out the door—yet it’s nowhere near that standard. Servers hovered uncomfortably, cut into our conversation, tried to box up our entrées before we’d finished, and eventually asked us to vacate the table “for the next reservation,” even though the dining room was completely empty and the rush had ended. It was the antithesis of genuine hospitality. I won’t be back, and I’ll be advising friends and family to stay away.

If I could give 10/5 stars, I would! We made a reservation after I’d seen it on social media and it did not disappoint! The food was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was so cozy and tasteful and everyone who worked there was so nice. The owner was on the floor and doing such a good job juggling everything and I think that says a lot about the success of a place. I’d recommend to anyone, as there is something for everyone!!

We had a really tough experience, and writing a negative review is not something I do lightly. I rely on reviews myself and want to be honest about what happened.
Our group of six had a reservation, yet we were seated late. Once seated, we were unable to place food orders for over an hour and 15 minutes because the kitchen was backed up. While the food and drinks were fine, the experience as a whole was frustrating, especially given the high prices.
The one bright spot was the staff—everyone we interacted with was excellent and doing their best under difficult circumstances. However, I reached out to the ownership twice to share our experience and never received a response, even after more than a week.
Because of the long delays, lack of communication, and lack of follow-up from management, I can’t recommend this restaurant and wouldn’t return.

Heirloom MKE checks all the right boxes for me. Great drinks. Great food, Great service. All in a casual atmosphere where you can talk with your dinner guests. We each enjoyed specialty drinks, Raspberry, Pineapple-jalapenos, and bourbon poblano elixirs. Interesting, unique, provocative. The burrata is a mix of many maple ingredients, including pumpkin, cranberries, honey, arugula, apple slice and more. One order was enough for 4 people. Our entrees included the fried chicken sandwich, Korean pulled pork sandwich, shrimp polenta and a veggie sandwich. All delish. Prices are reasonable and food is a good value. We'll be back again.

It took an hour and a half for the last of our entrees to arrive (grilled fish, which doesn't take long to cook), and about an hour for the first three entrees. Unsure why only three entrees came out and not all four. While the wait staff was very gracious and covered the cost of the late entree and a drink, the wait for our food was brutal. The food was fine once we got it (one steak was overdone) but for the prices paid we should have had a better experience. I'm unsure if we will go back.
