This place was awesome! Food was phenomenal. I had a cheeseburger and fries. Burger was cooked the way I asked for it to be cooked. I couldn’t stop eating the fries. Also ordered an apple/bourbon drink and it was amazing. Service was outstanding. Fun vibes as well.

Super impressed at how they have improved since opening. Lots of great vegetarian options besides just swap out a burger! Very creative and thoughtful dishes is such a refreshing thing to see when the place isn't expressly veg/vegan. I had the butternut squash steaks and it was fabulous although a lot to eat so took most home after having the fabulous Royal Eggs made veg. Definitely hope they stick around because we need something like this here! Please come out and support our small businesses esp in winter!

We stopped in without a reservation and had a lovely dinner at the bar. The cheese curds were perfection! Highly recommend the braised short rib mac & cheese as well the scallop-cut king oyster mushrooms. And be sure to save some room for the flourless chocolate cake!

Heirloom was on my list of places to try, and we went on wednesday. Everything we got from apps, drinks, entrees, and desserts were all incredible. (I cant remember the names of the bartender and server who served us but they were amazing as well!) Highly reccomend!

We started with the burrata, their specialty. It was, in a word, divine. The bread was perfectly toasted. The salad underneath the burrata changes seasonally, and the apricot, honey, and truffle oil elevated it beyond expectation. I could have had another order of this for my entrée and been set.
My chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Unpretentious but perfectly executed. The potatoes and broccolini came to life with the lemon caper sauce.
My husband had the mac n’ cheese with short rib. The creamy mac and tender meat don’t compete in flavor — they’re in a loving, happy marriage. This is what restaurant BBQ mac should be.
I’m not usually a crème brûlée person, or at least, I thought I wasn’t. I let my husband pick the dessert, and it did not disappoint. Perfectly creamy and flavorful. This is the experience you want when you decide you’re ordering a dessert.
The service was top-notch. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were all delightful. Heirloom MKE delivered one of my favorite dinners to date.

Such a lovely and delicious dinner! The octopus was the best I’ve ever had— tender, melt in your mouth, buttery. The burrata was creamy and the flavor combination made it unique and a must order. The steak was perfectly cooked. Wonderful, considerate, and kind service! Cute atmosphere! Will definitely visit again!

Heirloom has to be one of the most slept on restaurants in Milwaukee and one I cannot recommend enough. We always love the different specials the offer along with the staple items we always find ourselves ordering when we go.
The staff are always friendly and the food has been incredible every time we have gone. This along with a few other local places have been on our short list for date nights and bringing guests to when they are in town.

Best spicy fried chicken sandwich in Milwaukee and possibly the world. Great people. Amazing drinks. Cute spot for a date night and their outdoor space is wonderful in the summertime. Also hit up their food truck. It's been so great they have been coming to scout in Shorewood. Try to get them every Wednesday.
