Zero flavor, their dessert is just canned cocktail fruit. I don't know how you can make this kind of food so bland but they did it. Never again.

This is a new Bay View favorite for me. The food is amazing, and service is great. If it’s your first time visiting, I’d highly recommend the Dall Ghat Tarkari Set (Nepalese) and the vegetarian Pakoras.

Not complaining about food but their staff is very rude. I had ordered online and my order was moved to the next day, because apparently they close at 9pm even though their google listing says they close at 10pm. I tried leaving them a message and even replied to their confirmation message hoping it’d reach out to them so they can cancel my order. Next day I tried calling them over and over again when they opened up so they can cancel my order but nobody answered and I couldn’t really drive out to them because I had work. They finally answered later in the day and would not refund my order or atleast let me pick up the food I had ordered, then on top of that they lie to me about calling me “10 times” when I had not received a single call from them. “Customer is always right” does not work here. The guy I talked to was super rude and didn’t even give me a chance to explain myself. If you’re looking for good service, this is not the place, you might just get your feelings hurt lol

Food was wonderful! Appreciate the vegan section of the menu and clearly labeled vegan entrees in the lunch buffet (we were there for dinner but will be back for the lunch buffet!). We had the veggie momos, aloo tama bodi, mass ko daal, and mango pudding. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be going back! We also had plenty of leftovers. There was cold air blowing into the area of our table, so be sure to dress warm. The staff did move our table when we asked due to the breeze.

Best chai I've had in forever and it's included in the buffet. The saffron rice and the Tiki Masala is amazing. Get the buffet. It's wonderful
Came in for soup today. Daal Makhani Soup. Menu described it as silky, creamy tasting black lentils soup. Rich in flavor and protein. And a mango lassi. The mango lassi was good and reasonably priced. The soup was 99% clear broth, with I’d say maybe 4 tiny lentils making waay less than 1/4 teaspoon of lentils. Nothing creamy nor protein. I wish I had inquired sooner about why just broth but the waitress didn’t return until I had finished it. I then asked and got an answer that there is a dish with the same name that has lentils and rice. Which didn’t explain the soup. My lunch partner and I were in a hurry with other obligations so just paid and left. She ordered Palak, described as a cream based spinach soup with quite similar results. Pretty much little bits amounting to basically nothing but broth. The lunch buffet looked good but we didn’t have the appetite or time today. I’m sorry that we paid 7.95 for broth.

Having been to both India and Nepal, the flavor brings back memories. It hits the spot on taste, and fills you pretty quickly with some good leftovers to take home. Authentic and delicious. Be aware of the spice level. This ain’t American spice, this is “the other side of the world” spice
