Walked in late for the lunch buffet. First mistake we made was not checking out the buffet selection. The person in front of me took the last of the salad greens, couple tbsp of mango and rice pudding. Not much to pick from this buffet.Tandori chicken dry. Major disappointment. Plenty of rice, beans, spinach something which was good. Three other types of meat dishes and an assortment of sauces. Owner/worker if you see 3 people coming into the restaurant a good idea is to fill up some of your menu items or explain the situation to encourage your customers to order off the menu. $16.99 per plate. What a disappointment. Includes chia tea/drink.

We had the lunch buffet on a Saturday. The place is cute. The food choices were very good with a nice variety. However the food wasn't very hot. It also looked like it had been sitting out for a while by 12:30. I also looked online and saw they have a number of violations with the health department. I don't know if these have been resolved. I would be concerned about bacteria and getting sick. My brother is a fan of their takeout and I've sampled it and it tasted fresher. The food is very good. I just wouldn't do the buffet again unless I got there right when it came out. And if I knew they got a good grade from the health department. Also we were in a corner booth and every time the neighbors got up or down my mom's seat went up or down. She couldn't stand it and moved to my side. They got to do something about that. We loved the chai tea that came with the buffet. The host was polite and friendly. He just didn't know much English.

I do not eat Nepalese or Indian food very often, but this was amazing. Very kind host and server. Everything was very flavorful. If you are new to this cuisine, definitely order the Himalayan Mix Grill, the masala wings, and the Biryani rice. Will be coming back again.

We order delivery from the Yak often. It’s the best Indian/Nepalese in town, in our opinion. Rich sauces and delicious momos. The shop is simple but clean and the staff so friendly. We’ve visited Nepal and India many times and find the food to be as authentic as it gets in the States. Love it!!
