Ordered for a takeout and they got the order incorrect - paid for rava onion chili masala dosa but got rava onion chili without the masala 😕
Visited this place recently and honestly, I was impressed!
The Dal Palak was rich, creamy, and topped with a perfectly spiced tadka that elevated the whole dish. The Tawa Roti was soft and fresh, pairing beautifully with it.
The Triple Schezwan Noodles had just the right amount of spice and flavor — not overpowering, but satisfying. The Rava Dosa was crisp and light, and the Vada Pav had that authentic street-style taste we all love.
Overall, great taste, good portions, and a satisfying dining experience. Would definitely visit again!

Had the most amazing experience at this veg restaurant! 🌿✨ The Kattapa Sandwich was super unique and packed with flavors – totally a must-try! The Babycorn Chilli Gravy was perfectly spicy and so delicious, and the Paneer Biryani was aromatic, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted fresh and satisfying. . Definitely coming back again! 💚

I came to the restaurant after hearing about their chinese, and yes it was worth every dime spent. I ordered the schewan noodles but asked if it could be made on a milder side and it was truly amazing not too spicy and perfectly flavorful for me. I also had the chilly paneer which was not at all disappointing either. Will be definitely looking forward to be back again
Honest Milwaukee delivers an exceptional South Indian dining experience. The Masala dosa was beautifully executed — delicately crisp, evenly golden, and light with an intricate lace-like texture. The masala filling was well-balanced and aromatic without overpowering the palate.
The accompaniments truly elevated the dish.
The sambar was layered and deeply comforting, while the coconut and red chutneys were fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully seasoned.
We also tried the Rava masala dosa which was indulgent yet refined — generous without feeling excessive. Presentation was spot on, and portion sizes were impressive.
A standout destination for authentic yet elevated Indian cuisine in Milwaukee.

If you haven't tried the giant dosa at Honest Milwaukee yet... you're missing out…..
We tried the MYSORE MASALA DOSA
It's crispy, paper-thin, a bit on the spicer side, comes with delicious sambar and chutneys that actually taste homemade. It was flavorful, and super satisfying.
Portions are huge, flavors are bold, and everything tastes fresh. 10/10 experience.

These people work very badly. I don't know what the problem is with the employees here. They say one thing on the phone and another in the store. What do you people do on the phone if you don't sell something? There's always some problem with my order.

Dumpy place and parking lot is a mess. Food is not worth the cost. Dosa size is good, but lacks flavor. Service is slow. Many better Indian food options around.

Restaurantji Recommends
We had a great experience with Honest Bakery. Last month we put it in a big order for a house party and all the items ordered were very tasty! Bobby who helped with selecting the menu items, even accommodating some last minute changes definitely needs extra credit. We will definitely visit again and recommend to all.

If you're looking for delicious pure vegetarian Indian food, this is the place to be! The food is absolutely amazing—flavorful, fresh, and authentic. Their Pav Bhaji is the best, so be sure to order extra Pav! The service is quick, and the staff is friendly. I've been here multiple times, and every visit exceeds expectations. Highly recommend! 🌟👌

This is the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever visited in Milwaukee. I love the Dosa batter; it’s so crispy!
The dabang dosa is filled with plenty of vegetables, such as carrots and other Indian ingredients inside
It has a bit of spicy on the inside but is creamy on the outside, thanks to the generous amount of grated cheese on top, which makes it perfect. The dip is also just right
