This location used to be Wong’s Wok, but unfortunately, the food here now is terrible for a Chinese express-style restaurant. Honestly, if you’re going to run a Chinese place, at least take some pride in the cooking and the dishes you serve. The pre-made food looks unappealing and tastes downright disappointing.
I know many people may not realize the difference, which is probably what keeps this place going, but if you want real quality, there are far better options nearby — Mai Café, Touch of Hunan, or Mong-Teng all serve food that’s miles ahead of this spot.
Until the cooks here get back to their roots and start putting out authentic, well-prepared Chinese food again, I won’t be coming back.

I ordered the shrimp fried rice and fried chicken. The rice was bland, old and not good. There weren't many shrimps or vegetables in the rice. The chicken was old, hard and not good. I won't be ordering from this establishment again. I wouldn't recommend Hong Kong Express to anyone.

The egg foo young was decent but could've used more flavor. The gravy was good. It was lunch time and the food they had in the windows looked good and fresh but all I had was the shrimp egg foo young.

Second time being here , 1st time was decent then this time around my food was horrible , got the ribs and was a huge mistake , nothing but bone and chewy parts, my egg foo young was over cooked and honestly I just want my money back x still got the food and will never return.

The food is great very similar to Wongs Wok which this location actually used to be. That’s what I was looking for. Food wise need to ease up on the onions for a filler and LESS SALT/no msg. I don’t have any complaints about customer service the employees are always friendly. The only thing is sometimes it can be a long wait, they are extremely busy most of the time. But that’s a good thing right? Lol so it may bother some, I don’t mind. Sit on your phone or watch the TV they have on. I gave it four stars on atmosphere only because it’s more of it to go place. There’s no cleanliness issues to speak of or anything like that you can eat there and there’s plenty of seating it’s just it is mostly to go place if you get what I mean. I go here anytime I’m on that side of town.

Very very very long wait over 20 minutes for some orders people came after me and the 2 hispanics and they left come and go and we still waiting. Would not recommend the place.
