Love hooligans, Mark the owner is great. The bar food is good, great atmosphere. Good drinks. Ive been going to hooligans for 46 years. This is a much nicer place then just your corner bar. But it has a corner bar friendly atmosphere.

We were wandering around the area looking for a place for drinks and food. We loved it. The mozzarella sticks were ok, but the burgers were amazing. I had the Hooli burger which comes with black and green olives…. I love olives! My husband likes blue cheese and he had his choice of a salad, burger, and blue cheese coleslaw! My martini was only $8. We will definitely be back.

The famous walleye fish fry was a disappointment- not fresh, dry, gamy. French fries were okay. Cod was a better option as it turns out.

I don’t know about later at night or on a Friday or Saturday but me and my friend went on a Sunday around 7pm. The bartender was great at coming to us and keeping our drinks full, even though we were seated at a table and not the bar. She was so friendly and kind too. The bathroom was surprising clean and pleasant , not always typical for a bar. Again, this could all be different on a crazy night, but I enjoyed our time there.
