My spouse brought me here not realizing how much fish is served. I have a SEVERE allergy to fish. Alex came out from the kitchen and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They made a special dish to avoid cross contamination and Verified all the ingredients in a sauces. By the end of the night, he had been to our table 6 times to make sure what they planned to make would be safe and desired. I cannot express how grateful we are for their care and service. I highly recommend their service.

This is my new favorite restaurant. Ive eaten here 3 times, each time has been exceptional. Maki, sashimi, poke, Ramen, teriyaki, tempura and more. Staff is awesome, so friendly. Food is awesome. Space is limited and it's always full. Expect a wait. I didn't want to write this review because I love this place and it's hard to get a seat but this place is awesome and I have to give them the love they deserve. Parking can be problematic. I'm not going to post photos, because the food is beautiful.

Absolutely love Hungry Sumo! Fresh sushi, huge portions, and lightning-fast service. The rolls are flavorful, the staff is friendly, and the vibe is always chill. My go-to spot and I highly recommend it!

This has been the benchmark for Asian food in Bayview, and maybe even Milwaukee, since they opened. Don't expect massive portions, but do expect consistent flavourful food and friendly staff. Potato egg rolls are great. Any pad dish, curry, or ramen will hit that spot. Sushi is also good.

Delicious! This is a small Japanese restaurant that does not take reservations. However it is worth the wait! The service is kind and fast, and most importantly, all the food was fantastic! Would highly recommend the crab wontons for an appetizer. The contemporary maki are large (big enough for one person if also sharing an appetizer). I think it's been my favorite sushi in the Milwaukee area!
