Il Cervo was an amazing restaurant! The service, food and vibe of the place was perfect. All the staff were very kind, helpful with suggestions for drinks and food pairings. We celebated our anniversary here, but I would go again anytime if I wanted a great night out in Milwaukee!

The restaurant itself is beautiful. The outdoor space is beautiful. We had made reservations about a week in advance and we were a party of two, husband and wife out without the children. We came early and had a drink at the bar, checked in for our reservation, only to be sat back in the bar. The bar was a little bit louder that evening, there was people having a good time watching a sports game. Not a problem at all, however, it would’ve been nice to be somewhere a little quieter seeing as we made Reservations. Everything else was fantastic.

We came here for my husband’s birthday dinner and really enjoyed! The cocktails were creative and tasty, and the pasta was wonderful. When we find ourselves in Milwaukee again, we will definitely make a repeat appearance here.
Came here for our anniversary dinner. The food was good and our server Jack was awesome. Unfortunately we had people leaning against our booth breathing over us while trying to eat. Manager said one word to us but made sure to wish the couple behind us happy anniversary and kept checking in. Asked to talk to manager at the end and the girls working the front desk couldn’t have cared less and told us to write this review. Just a disappointing evening.

I dined with my 24 year old daughter and her roommate on Saturday evening. The staff was attentive and knowledgable about the menu. We enjoyed the meatball appetizer and then each had a separate pasta dish, all of which we enjoyed. Portions were generous. Cocktails were delicious, particularly the espresso Martin.
