Exciting First Fish Fry Experience of Lent 2025! Today, I finally had the chance to step into Jerseys Pub and Grill for my first official Fish Fry Lunch of Lent 2025! It's located at 4024 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207, and let me tell you – I’ve passed by this place countless times, but today, I finally got to experience it! What a hidden gem it turned out to be! It all started when I met the owner, who just so happens to have a son at the same elementary school as my own. That’s when I discovered their Friday Fish Fry – a perfect addition to my Fish Fry Bucket List. Now, let's dive into the mouthwatering menu options they offer on Fridays: * Cod Fish Fry: Freshly cut lemon wedge, slaw, rye bread, and your choice of fries, potato wedges, or tater tots, all for $13. * Fish Sandwich: Served with your choice of potato for $10. * Shrimp Tacos: A flavorful delight for $9.50. * Fish Tacos: Tasty and satisfying for $9.50. * Shrimp Basket: Perfect for seafood lovers at $11. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the owner’s warm and friendly demeanor – she made me feel right at home. Her impeccable service really set the tone for the whole experience. As for the food – WOW! I was served three generously-sized pieces of cod, perfectly battered with just the right amount of crispiness, yet not oily at all (huge win!). I went with the potato wedges, and they were on point – golden brown, crispy on the outside, and warm & fluffy on the inside. The slaw wasn’t the creamy type I usually prefer, but it had a delightful, crisp flavor that paired perfectly with everything else. All in all, this was a fantastic Fish Fry Lunch that I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area and craving something new! Another Milwaukee gem to add to your list.

I came here to try the deep-fried avocado slices. I was a little disappointed that their supplier no longer delivers them. Instead, I had the deep-fried pot stickers. Very good and hot!! The sauce was a little too spicy for me so I only used a tiny portion per bite. I also could have used a knife along with the fork.

I was in the place during a pub crawl with a school bus put on by Carol from Mavericks bar on 20th and Howard! We had some fun and this place served us well! I recommend the place very friendly. I can't speak about the food I didn't eat here but there was quite a few people munching down

Great spot! Clean and comfortable. Great staff and great regulars. Easy gin joint to stop in solo and strike up a conversation. Food-wise, I recommend the pizza burger with wedge fries! Amazing!

I've enjoyed tons of wings from a lot of different places in MKE, and this place may be the best. Top 3 without a doubt. Chicken is juicy and expertly cooked, sauces are delicious. Will be coming back often!

This was my first time visiting Jerseys Pub & Grill. I was there celebrating my cousins 50th birthday party. Had a great time. The atmosphere was free flowing. The service was good. The restroom and establishment was clean. Did not order any food. Food was provided by the party I was with. I did order a Bloody Mary, was delicious. I will visit Jerseys Pub & grill again. ??
