This food was so atrociously bad i didnt even finish it. The general tso just tasted like moist chicken with soy sauce. the rangoons tasted just bad and there was no sauce, the rice was somehow bad too, I honestly dont know how you screw up rice.

Both the curried chicken and general tso chicken were, unfortunately, very bland. The friend chicken used for the latter was not crispy at all, but instead gummy in a way that seemed reheated or microwaved, rather than freshly fried and then coated with sauce in a hot wok. The sauce was either store-bought, or incredibly underdeveloped.

The curry seemed almost entirely missing from the curry chicken, instead being somewhat watery. This is surprising, given how easy it would be to (at the very least) use a premade seasoning to a proper amount. The chicken was also overcooked and not velveted properly, which led to the texture being slightly rubbery and sticking to the teeth when chewing. The veggies were ok, if not also slightly overcooked.

Service was good. The atmosphere, minus the giant holding station against the wall, was just fine.

In any case, there was an overall lack of freshness, execution, flavor, or any inspiration in what both me and my partner had. After trying our food, we both just sort of looked up at one another with disappointment. Quality Chinese-American cuisine seems to be increasingly hard to find, and Jing's continues that trend - regardless of any supposed accolades from the past.

(Please don't argue with your disappointed patrons online voicing legitimate concerns - it's incredibly embarrassing to read. With all due respect, your energy would be much better spent improving on and delivering quality food).

Workers were super nice, everything was very clean, food came out quick and delicious. This is seriously my favorite restaurant now.

I love Jings so much. I order the seasoned green beans every time. So good. I’ve been getting this since 2009 when I attended MIAD. It’s my go to when I want to feel the nostalgic feeling of living in the third ward.

Nice lady on the phone when I called in my order, stop. Everything else was awful food greasy tasteless and horrible at the same time. It was takeout and stapled shut at pick up … NO NAPKINS CHOP STICKS OR EVEN A FREAKING SPORK!

We love to eat at Jing's on a weeknight before going to the theater or symphony. The food is delicious and comes out very quickly. The 2 of us usually share a fish dish and an Asian vegetable such as baby boy choi. It's perfect for a light dinner before a show.

Outstanding food. They have an excellent regular menu and I’ve asked about other options not listed and they frequently have items not on a regular menu. Those are actually Chinese recipes and they have always been a pleasant surprise

The food is my favorite in Milwaukee. The soup dumplings are the best that I've had and I really like the hot chili chicken. Everything tastes amazing!

A hidden Gem, worth looking for if you are in the 3rd ward. A buddy introduced me to Jings and it's a great place to dine in away from the bustle and hustle.

Ordered delivery, tasteless food. Spring rolls almost empty, Lo Mein lacking ingredients, General Tso’s chicken tasted old. Disappointing.

I have never had a restaurant vary so widely in between the quality of dishes that I ordered. The shrimp fried rice was easily an 8/10, but the chicken lo mein was a joke. Based on the other pictures I can tell that they used to use the proper flat noodles, but these were just spaghetti noodles. Seasoning was just garlic oil, there were no veggies at all, and about eight small, thin pieces of chicken coated in cornstarch and lightly fried. 1/10, nasty. The orange chicken has no discernable orange flavor or balanced sweetness as expected, just thickened soy/oyster sauce.
