Very nice wait staff and people. Otherwise, terrible. I had the Mexican Omelette- nothing Mexican about it, plain ground beef, no spice or Chorizo. Sliced processed cheese. English muffin was pressed into the grill with the yellow soybean oil they fry everything with. Pretty nasty overall. Gigantic, boring pancakes served with margarine.

When I came here with my dad today. I was a little bit nervous since I haven’t been there. But when I ate there. The food was better than iHop. Although it tasted the same. I would come back. 5 Stars!

Lovely long time diner located in Thurston Woods neighborhood. The Hoppel Poppel is excellent, as are the country fried steak and biscuits and gravy. Polishing off an already big, healthy meal, you can't resist their fresh cinnamon rolls.

It was my first time at that establishment.. But I ordered the pork chops well done, American fries, a ham steak and a pancake.. I wanted to try a little bit of everything almost! The pork chops were well seasoned, and they are boneless! The American fries are just like smothered potatoes... Excellent! The ham was awesome..oh and the pancakes tasted like pure buttermilk! Food was great, service was great, and the atmosphere was great! I'm definitely going back!

Wonderful service, everyone working there was very kind and helpful! They were willing to accommodate for non-cash payment if necessary. The food was delicious and a lot was given for the price. Very nice small diner atmosphere where the regulars seemed known by name. Would like to come back again when visiting Milwaukee!
