Grebe's is a very good bakery. So why one star? They have eliminated my favorite, the maple iced long John! For me, this is the end of an era. If I can't get maple icing on a cake donut or long john, I'll have to move on ti another bakery :(

Grebe's has been a long-time favorite of my coworkers and I. I figured it was about my turn to bring in some donuts and crullers. The store (and parking lot) smells fantastic. Their customer service was amazing, and they were very easy to order with. I'll continue to be back!

The aroma of the bakery was phenomenal- my mouth was watering as soon as I stepped out of the car. It was grab-your-own coffee with a wide selection of fresh donoughts and pastries. They were easily some of the BEST donoughts I've had in Milwaukee, and at a reasonable price too! The employees were friendly and kept the line moving quick inside. I'm excited to return!

A couple years ago I stopped at a gas station in Madison, Wi and noticed these adorably decorated sugar cookies. I bought just one and ended up taking a bite as I was pumping gas- it was the best cookie I ever had. I ended up going back inside and buying the rest of the cookies to bring home for my family. I live in a Chicago suburb and have driven all the way to Grebe's bakery on several different occasions to surprise my family with these cookies. I ordered cookies for my niece's Troll-themed birthday and they exceeded my expectations with their decorating. I plan on stopping at this bakery on my way up to Waupaca, Wisconsin in just a couple of weeks. The baked goods are worth the extra drive, and I love supporting businesses that employee friendly people. Try this place once, and you'll be back!

We went to Grebes to get curbside service, as offered by their website. They refused to do it because they were “too busy.”
They offer curbside pickup because of Covid, but then refuse to do curbside because they are "busy." We will never be going back--not for donuts, cakes, or hot ham.

I can easily say Grebe's Bakery has some of the best donuts in Milwaukee. One of my friends suggested it to me about a year ago and I first came here on national donut day. I was so disappointed in myself for not coming here immediately after she told me! They have a large variety of donuts that would satisfy anyones palate. I brought home a box of donuts for my family and ended up sampling about 7 donuts (along with the free one on national donut day). Very dangerous for a donut fiend like me! My absolute favorite was the apple fritter, which many of my friends agree with as well. I can't wait to be back!

We were excited to have Susie Cakes yummy cake slices like the Celebration cake but were so disappointed. They only had a few cupcakes and cookies . We got the chocolate cupcake which was a tiny frosted filled day old tasting like store bought. Ewwww. And chocolate chip cookies which were ok. Nothing like Susie Cakes. What happened?!

I don't even like carrot cake but I come here to specifically buy theirs. I also don't really like red velvet but I'll eat the whole thing if it's from Susie Cakes Honestly, I don't even care if I'm spending damn near $20 for two slices of cake sometimes cause it's just that damn good.
