Have tried Kawa a couple of different times when visiting the 3rd street market hall. The ordering process is easy and I got my food quickly. Have had the salmon teriyaki bowl in the past, but tried the veggie fried rice on my most recent visit. Both were fantastic dishes, but I especially enjoyed the fried rice. It was full of flavor, had the perfect fried rice texture, and was a generous portion for the price.
The menu has a lot of options to choose from and many dishes can be customized with tofu, veggies, or shrimp for those that follow a vegetarian or pescatarian diet.
Will definitely be back for more.

The salmon & avocado roll was fresh, but the portions were small and not very flavorful. The salmon sashimi was very good and a nice texture. Overall pricey for what was delivered.

I’ve always enjoyed Kawa and love that they’re located inside the 3rd st Market Hall! My go to order is the Hellfire Ramen, Kaarage Chicken & a Spicy Tuna Roll! Super delicious! Service is always very upbeat and friendly! You can just taste the quality in their food!

Nice place to dine it, there’s a sushi bar around the store where you can sit and chat with your friend. Foods are delicious and staffs are nice. Love their ramen especially.

Was in the city for a NAR Realtor meeting and we all decided to visit the 3rd St. Market. Kawa caught a lot of the groups eye for the neat drawings, decor, and friendly smiling face at the front just ready to take our order. It was delicious!
The cashier up front named Steven was an exceptional server who provided attentive and friendly service. His knowledge of the menu helped me a ton and his recommendation for the fried rice bowl was spot-on.
Was a little pricy, but willing to pay a little extra for that great service, will return!!

Very nice service, and very clean establishment! You could really see the customer care and care to the atmosphere. Had the sashimi, and it was excellent! You could see them prep the food which added to security and enjoyment to the experience!

This was my first time here at Kawa. I wanted to try something different, and I have seafood allergies. Steven was very helpful with letting the people she works with know that. I never tasted Eel before, and Steven said it was delicious. So, I ordered the Eel (unagi), and it was delicious. I asked what other things she had tried and / or wanted to offer for suggestions, and she showed me different pictures of food so that I could see what it looked like. I then ordered an Unagi Don, which is grilled Eel, sesame, pickled reddish, and Eel sauce over rice. The seaweed salad was okay, and the Eel was delicious. Thank you, Steven, for helping my daughter and I with the menu, trying NEW FOODS, and being FABOULOUS ;) I will definitely come back and try something different

Ordered at 9:58 two minutes before closing time and as I tried to order just a drink the cashier rudely told me that they were closed. This is clearly someone that doesn’t care about her job and knows nothing about putting the customer as the priority.
Attentive & friendly staff. Prompt service and good food.
