My boyfriend and I love this place. They have some GREAT rolls and Raman. Nice atmosphere and ambience. We spend over $100 with tip every time, so be prepared for that.

My husband and I LOVE ramen and have been to a plethora of ramen places in Milwaukee seeking out the best and Kawa is it. Plus they marinate their boiled eggs which is a huge plus for us! Service is always friendly and attentive. Last time we went, though, I decided to get the Japanese Curry (cant remember which one but it had chicken) and it was sub par :/ chicken was dry and curry wasn't very flavorful. I eneded up sending it back, which I never do, and got the Ramen instead which was the right move. No way I was gonna pay $18+ for a [very] bland dish. They were fine about it and trading was easy. I appreciate their food and service. The new renovations look amazing :) SO glad it is open again! We missed their ramen

Very disappointed, for 17$ ramen with 2 pieces of meat? Ordered extra meat for 4$ to get 2 more, so 4 total? This meal got more carbs and fat than protein. Sad ramen

Food and staff were both great. Hellfire ramen is outstanding; we got the hottest spice level and it was very spicy but still enjoyable and could eat it. Sushi was all good too.

Firstly, the interior and tables were so clean! Secondly, the service was amazing and Neccy was so helpful with any questions we had about the menu. Lastly, the food was great and the Spider Roll was a delicious choice Neccy helped us with!

I dined in Friday afternoon. Everything was fine until the bill came. The total was $24.93. I gave the server $40.00 in cash, she gave me $15.00 back. When I asked her about the $0.07 she told me she didn't have any change. This may sound ridiculous, but would it have been ok if I gave her only $24.00 because I didn't have any change? What started off as a overall good lunch ended with disappointnent.

Been here several times now and I've yet to be disappointed. My favorite part about coming is always the special drinkware certain drinks come in. The ramen is amazing, and the miso soup is the most flavorful I've ever had. Sushi is always rolled tightly and plated beautifully. Every time I come here I'm part of a rather large group, and the server does an A+ job keeping up with us. Their scratch off cards for larger tickets is pretty cool too, I won a free ramen on one.
