Food is great but the owner is incredibly rude. Leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

I would probably give a 0 star for the service. The owner is very rude. We went on a Saturday for lunch. She was not welcoming in first place. After we got the food it literally didn’t have anything mentioned in the ingredients list on the menu except for rice and chicken.I was surprised and asked if we got the correct order just to make sure. The owner started shouting and asked us to leave if we had any complaints about the food. Even before we realize what was happening she took away the food served for us and asked us to leave.I have never experienced something like this before. I would never go back to this restaurant or recommend this to a friend/family.

Get to know Kim, and you will love her! She works so hard, is very sweet, and has my order memorized. My favorite is the yellow curry with chicken & squash, but the whole menu is amazing. This is our go-to for take out and definitely our favorite Thai food!

Seems like a nice restaurant so gave it a try. First thing that greeted us was this old grumpy old lady(must be owner I guess). We sat down got the menu and waited a good 10mins before she came back for our orders( there was only one table of two customers by way). So we started ordering and my friend got confused about a dish and had some question, the old lady said some thing. My friend said let me see what type of noodles and without a word the old lady walked away to the kitchen how rude. After that we decided we have enough and just left. Would live to have tried their food but the rude old lady spoilt our appetite. They need to get her out of interacting with the customer otherwise they will not get much business. I will not go back there again.

The moment my family entered the place, it felt like entering a lion’s den with a middle-aged lady glaring unfriendly at us. All hell breaks loose once we started ordering when her rudeness became more evident. Being a customer who hasn’t done anything wrong and hated to be mistreated coldly, we ended up leaving her hell hole but not before exchanging words. My family owns a restaurant chain back home yet we never treat our customers with such negative attitudes. It’s only a matter of time that Kim being indignant of her attitude will realize that the sustainability of any business depends on customers. For her absolute ZEROOOO and it ain’t surprising that most reviews read also point out her notoriety. Never in my life have we met such an unruly Thai when I’ve always been to Thailand where the people are absolutely friendly. She doesn’t deserve even to serve Thai food as she degrades Thai culture renowned for its virtues and values.

Rude waitress/owner. very rude and acted more like we were unwanted guests rather than customers.

The food is excellent no doubt. I would aay best and authentic thai food in Milwaukee i have had. Restaurant is clean if you want to dine in. But the owner Kim is super UNfriendly and seemed annoyed that we were there to dine in. She was talking to us from the cash register. When she served us food she didn't give us any plates. When i asked for it, she just went inside and grabbed some bowls. Very rude quite honestly. Probably better to just do take out cos the food is so good!

Incredibly authentic tasting Thai food. And the owner is very nice. She warned me about the 7, but I asked for it! Deliciously spicy. The jungle curry is very good and comes in a large amount! Excited for the next time I have some. We also had the pad thai and crab rangoons. Don't sleep on Kim's Thai!

I’ll forever be a returning customer. Kims is great food every time. The lack of empathy in these reviews for the woman working the front is so pathetic. She’s a host, server, online order taker, table buster and I’m sure the list goes on. Go to Kim’s knowing you’ll get quality Thai food and if you are looking for over the top customer service then go to an overrated chain restaurant where they have more than two staff members running the place. I recommend the volcanic chicken, basil curry fried rice and veggie egg rolls.
