I've been wanting to check this place out for while. Such a cool neighborhood bar! We came to listen to Reverend Raven and West Side Andy, and they were awesome! We also met the owner Andy and he's doing a great job keeping this historic place alive. The beer garden and outdoor stage is amazing. They offer a Jazz jam on Tuesdays and Polka jam on Wednesdays. Beer selection is great and I was happy to get Spaten Oktoberfest on tap. Will be back!

When I was there they didn't have any real food. Just snack items. That's not a negative comment, just a factual one. Each local bar has their own theme/thing. Bartenders were very friendly, and their outdoor patio area was both spacious and exceptional!

The bar keep is friendly and was kind to my little girl.
The beer and green river was good.
Great place, neighborhood bar felt like family
Nice and cozy place for live music.
A TRUE polka bar. 2 stages at opposite ends of the venue. Private beer garden in back.
All the Polish brews and liquors you could desire. No frills here and basic offerings.
Husband & wife duo run this place quite well. They have many philanthropic events, most frequently for animal shelters. Expect to be patient at the bar when it's busy.
Most importantly, I feel SAFE as a patron here.
LOVE getting half dollars back for change. Much of this place seems frozen in time and I ADORE that.
I might be out of place but, iv lived in this area for years and still can’t get in to this venue/bar. The moment I walk in the whole atmosphere changes the bartenders will politely make you not feel welcome by demanding a cover even when it’s empty. Maybe the owner should look for new employees that are actually welcome to new business and people. I was hoping tonight (my third attempt to visit) that my friends and neighbors were lying or just experienced a blip in there businesses hours, but no they obviously don’t care how they are Perceived in this neighborhood

A nasty place, smells bad, and the owner is an angry little man.

went on a Wednesday night for the live music and it was just an accordian player, so I guess I had higher expectations, but that's on me. enjoyed speaking with the owner at the bar about the place and the collections of beers he had in the cooler. outside area looked nice but it was dead on a weekday night. would love to go back when they have the outside music. check it out.

Old school beer garden, with a huge outdoor area and great atmosphere. They have live music, open polka mic nights and excellent staff. Even if you're just stopping by for one, stop by and try a polish beer, or one of the uncommon German beers on tap. Everyone in our party enjoyed their visit and hopes to return.
