I placed an order for donuts to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (3/17) with my office, only to arrive at the location for my scheduled pickup and find it closed. There was no prior notice, no explanation, and no response to my follow-up email. To resolve the issue, I had to contact corporate on 3/24/25 to request a refund, which will take another 5-7 days to process.

This experience raises an important question: if the store is closed for all scheduled pickups, why should customers have to go through the hassle of requesting refunds? A simple email notification explaining the situation, accompanied by an apology and an automatic refund, would have been the bare minimum effort to show respect for your customers’ time and trust. Unfortunately, none of these basic courtesies were extended.

To Krispy Kreme’s marketing team: please spare me the generic responses that other complaints receive. It’s clear that Krispy Kreme’s actions—or lack thereof—speak louder than any hollow words. This experience has made it abundantly clear that customer care is not a priority for your company.

Moving forward, my staff and I will be enjoying Dunkin’ Donuts instead—always ready, always reliable, and always delicious.

9:45 AM and the doors are locked.. my vehicle is too big to fit through drive through. No note on door or anything.

Tried calling.. no answer.. we on trip and it was a ways out of our way so afraid to try to drive there if not open because reviews say they were closed…. Maybe another day if they can update phones n say open or closed?!😢

I pre-ordered a dozen donuts for an 8pm pickup time. I showed up at 7:53pm. The doors were locked and had a sign on the door that said "drive thru only" so I got back in the car and pulled around to the drive through where they had a sign saying "drive thru closed due to lack of employees". There were 2 employees inside actively ignoring me. I tried to knock on the window to explain that I was there to pickup an order I already paid for and the female employee just kept mouthing to me that they were closed and wouldn't even open the window to hear me... Mind you, this location is supposed to be open till 10pm. I needed these donuts for an event planned for the morning... I'm so very disappointed.

This review is mainly based on today’s experience. The donuts have never disappointed they are always good. Yesterday I was going to grab some donuts but good thing I checked the reviews before I went because apparently they were closed and this did not reflect on their hours on google. But today when I went to the store the doors were locked, so I tried the drive through and was told that they are only doing pickup orders. So I tried placing one on the app and it said that the store is temporarily closed. How are you going to tell me you are only accepting pickup orders when I can’t even place one? I’ve also heard numerous times that the drive thru is the only thing that’s open most of the time. It’s sad that this is the only location in the state.

Preordered donuts for pickup to share with staff today on St. Patrick’s Day. Store closed and no one answering phones. Why would website not be updated to reflect orders cannot be fulfilled from this store??

Got there at 3 pm. Sign in door says drive through only. Drive through sign closed ...no help. I drove 400 miles to get to this place. Very disappointed 😞
