Not supposed to closed to 9pm. Its not even 5:30 and they closed and won't help anyone. I only have a pick up order that was placed. Guess they just steal your money now.

Went one day and they weren't open on the inside came back the next day they were open but barely had any type of donuts considering it's the only store in Wisconsin I think they'd be on top of their game

I used the drive thru to pick up my order. I sat at the window while the girl told me to hold on while she waited on change for cash. Then I watched her and 2 other employees head outside for like 8 mins while I just sat there plus 5 cars behind me.I didn't have my food or change till she came back from break. Doughnuts ok though.

I’ve always been a fan of Krispy Kreme donuts. You could always count on fresh, warm donuts and good customer service. That wasn’t the case this morning when I purchased my 1/2 dozen. The representative at the window was a bit too rude, when I showed her nothing but kindness and my donuts are cold. I’m not happy about this! I’ve never had cold Krispy Krem donuts. EVER!!!! I’m scared to eat them because they may be old! It will be a long while before I go back

Krispy Kreme's rock. Unfortunately, or maybe, fortunately, this is the closest one to me, and it is 20 minutes away, or I'd eat a lot more of them.

Krispy Kreme in West Allis has unfortunately become one of the more disappointing stops for what should be a simple, enjoyable experience. My most recent visit made it clear that this location is struggling with basic customer service and operational consistency, and from what I’ve seen in other reviews, this has been an ongoing problem for quite some time.

We visited last Sunday evening around 8:00 p.m. The posted hours indicated the lobby should have been open until 9:00 and the drive-through until 10:00. The lights were on when we pulled in, and there was one car ahead of us in the drive-through. After a short wait, we approached the window ourselves. What followed was baffling. Instead of service, we watched as large donut carts were pushed in front of the drive-through windows, clearly blocking any view in or out. A few moments later, the lights were abruptly shut off, even though it wasn’t yet closing time. We could see team members moving around inside, ducking behind the carts as if actively trying to avoid being seen. No one came to the window, no one acknowledged us, and no explanation was given. The message was loud and clear: they were not interested in serving customers.

What’s worse is that this wasn’t an isolated event. Numerous online reviews echo the same themes early closures, inconsistent hours, stale or unavailable donuts, long waits, and a general lack of professionalism. One reviewer summed it up by saying, ā€œEvery. Single. Time. you try to go here, they are closed.ā€ Others have noted that the store seems to randomly shut down, even during peak hours, with no notice or apology.

Several customers have pointed out that someone from corporate routinely responds to reviews with a generic apology and a request to contact customer service. But here’s the problem: nothing ever changes. These canned replies might check a box, but they don’t fix the issue. There’s no evidence of improvement, no sign that local management has taken feedback seriously, and no consistency in how the business is run day-to-day. It gives the impression that the concerns of loyal customers and even basic operations—are not a priority.

It’s truly unfortunate because Krispy Kreme is a brand many people associate with quality and nostalgia. People don’t come here for complex meals or extended service. They come for a fresh donut, maybe a coffee, and a few minutes of simple comfort. But even that seems to be too much to expect from this location. The experience left us frustrated and disappointed, and we have no plans to return.

Until there is clear evidence that management is listening, that store hours are being respected, and that basic customer service is being restored, I can’t recommend this Krispy Kreme to anyone. A business can’t survive on brand name alone—especially not when it continually turns away its customers, literally and figuratively.
