We missed that this was a gay bar but it was lovely in there.

My ID was denied, despite the fact it's 100% real, and I have visited in the past. Perhaps a scanner is needed if the bartenders don't know how to verify it on their own.

Kruz is still my place to go when visiting Milwaukee, nice atmosphere, nice staff and the best outdoor by far.

Great meeting place with plenty of off street parking and a heated patio!

Sat down at the bar, older male with white hair and tight jeans too out of touch for his age, looks right at us, turns around and puts his hand on his chin and continues chatting with someone. We got up and left. Second impression, first was a similar experience. Need a new bartender behind the bar that has people skills.

The bartenders attitude was out in left field. Asked for butterscotch shot, the BT was not sure if they served it. The barback was better than the BT!!! Bobby was not there this night! Will never visit unless Bobby is there!!
Sorry I stayed for a drink!

Used to be my favorite gay bar; i'd be there every weekend/other weekend... now, it's not worth going to unless it's a holiday/holiday weekend. All the regulars i'd look forward to seeing have moved on to greener pastures. Why? Well, because the demiographics have changed... it's no longer the diverse crowd it used to be; rather it's all 98% one type... and they do not like people who dom"t look themselves. I never have fun there anymore... the last few times i've walked in, i've turned and walked right out. In the daytime it's a diffetent clientelle, but those guys are mostly elderly, and horribly clicky, so don't expect to make friends or have a good time with any of them. I wish it could be like it was sum 5 years back... r.i.p. kruz.

Stopped into Kruz on a trip from Minneapolis. This bar is definitely a local bar, we were noticed right away for being out of town. Typically that could be frustrating, but the staff was very polite, helpful, and made for a really chill experience. They have a quality patio and a nice space. We had some drinks, shared some laughs, and played some darts before leaving back to the hotel. I would visit this location again.
