Brandon is a great tour guide. The brewery tour is very generous and def a must do for visitors in town. They have the best cheese curds in Milwaukee 8 years running. They also have a great view of the river from their deck which is perfect for photos.
Good food, good beer, good service.
We did our rehearsal dinner at Lakefront Brewery, and it was the perfect fun, laid-back vibe with delicious food and drinks! Lakefront Brewery is a Milwaukee staple, so we thought it would be a perfect spot for both locals and out-of-towners. Shoutout to the event coordinator, Kenzie, who helped us set it all up. She helped us pick out the perfect menu. We were super impressed by the food! We got the fish fry, chicken dinner, and of course, the cheese curds, which everyone raved about. We did the mini brewery tour, which was a fun and unique addition. Our guide kept us entertained, and the drink tokens that come with the tour make it an especially good deal. Thank you to the staff at Lakefront Brewery for helping us put this together and making it such a fun and memorable celebration!
The best thing is the cheese curds, I’ve tried a few other things and was average at best. Great atmosphere and location though! Very family friendly!
Cheese curds are great! And the pretzel is huge and good. Sauces are good too. Of course the beer is phenomenal.
Great place, excellent food, the best cheese curds good service
Awesome establishment. Many delicious options and great location. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful brewery with some of the best beers around! The curds and chicken salad were tasty and thoroughly enjoyed! The staff was friendly and energetic!
Beer hall restaurant is good food. Gluten free options have atrophied over the last few years. Call ahead to confirm dietary needs instead of relying on the online menus. I'm hoping the fish frys in the spring are more GF friendly.
I rarely leave reviews, but this one needs to be written. Lakefront’s fish fry used to be one of the best in Milwaukee — crispy, flavorful, and something I’d actually look forward to. My brother just moved back and suggested we meet there since we both remembered it being amazing. Unfortunately, it’s not the same anymore.
Even the cheese curds, which used to be our absolute favorite, were a letdown. I knew right away just by looking at them that they weren’t the same — and I was right. The fish was dry, bland, and honestly hard to finish. The beer and service were still great, but the food was a major disappointment.
Whatever they changed, it wasn’t for the better. It’s sad to see a Milwaukee classic lose its touch.

Great tour. Great beer. Great curds. If that doesn't sound good, you're in the wrong state!
One of the best in America
The food is pretty tasty! Their cheese curds are simply delicious and I look forward to having them!
Was great until we got close to closing time. We ordered beers around 8:30 and were rushed out by a server named Claire, super rude. Great beer, sub par food, mediocre service. Grab. six pack and go.
This is a Milwaukee classic. Food here is super on point. Some of the best cheese curds l've ever had! Huge space with bench seating so you'll likely have someone on the same table but it's not an issue. Can still get pretty packed. Right next to the river. If you're on a boat you can dock, get a beer, and head back out pretty quickly. I recommend doing the tour its worth $7 3 drinks and a awesome lake front beer cup! 100% recommend!
