I am very disappointed I usually never write bad reviews but let's do this.1. It took them 1 hour to get my food out (Even tho they had no orders before me)2.FOOD WISE some things like the Tostones and fries where really good the rest of the was pretty mediocre in the sence of flavor The Mofongo was Horrible berally any flavor, the Pernil as well berally any flavor same thing with the Carne frita it was very disappointing.3. If You are a Puerto Rican Like My Self let me tell you that if you really want to try something the same as In PR you will be disappointed this place is Tailored To Americans.4. If the owner is reading this don't take this as a complaint. Take it as in you need to have more Pride in what you serve here and do better because I know it's possible to serve 100% Authentic Food you just need to want to do it.5. Good Presentation but that is not all

THIS was boiled the barbecue sauce was awful I never had a pincho made like this nasty taste no seasoning bad!!!!! I THOUGHT THEY LOOK LIKE THE OTHER PHOTO LIKE IT SUPPOSED TO BE

A nice day with friends, enjoying Puerto Rican cuisine. Everything we ordered was delicious, we enjoyed the mix of flavors to the fullest! I recommend it 100%. They have alternatives to eat outside or inside, if it's still cold. A Venezuelan pleased with the food!!!

Drove 40 mins just to try it and was not disappointed 100/10. Will be returning again
BF and I ran across Las Virellas at a recent event. We couldn't resist the call of spicy crab with tostones. I'm glad we didn't. The service was friendly. The menu for the event was interesting, but we could have used more descriptors on it. Our crab was fresh, creamy and a little spicy at the end. It was served with a side of greens, which also contributed to the lightness and freshness. The tostones were the smashed patty variety and were satisfying and filling. I'll be back based on this visit.

The food was soooo good… cheeseballs were the bomb! Piña colada omg so tasty! The pastel with Puerto Rican rice, pigeon peas, elbow salad and pernil was so much food I had leftovers to take home lol… Caroline was a sweetheart and cooked the food so nice… will definitely be coming back again!! Success in everything! ???
