Best date spot for young professionals in MKE. Come for the atmosphere and stay for the even more ambiance.
It's like if Einstein invented the Tunnel of Love attraction in all those classic films about yt people wearing sweaters and getting married at age 17 instead of nuclear destruction, but even more.

Visited this little spot from out of town. There were some very cheesy horror films playing, which added a fun atmosphere. The regulars and staff were very welcoming. I'm sober, and wasn't made to feel uncomfortable for ordering sodas all night, which I really appreciated. There were a couple of very friendly and cute dogs on-site. They even have pinball, area 51, and other standard bar games. Extra stars for being queer/trans friendly 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 (it wouldn't be a true punk bar if they weren't, though 😌)
I'll definitely have to catch a show next time I'm in town!

After many attempts to get paid out for slot machine winnings, leaving my information on more than 1 occasion, i haven’t heard back in months. fine bar, just don’t play any of the machines. you’ll never see you’re money.

Last Rites is an independent, cool, gritty bar and music venue with a definite punk vibe. The bartender was efficient and attentive. The crowd really got into the music.
