Last Rites is an independent, cool, gritty bar and music venue with a definite punk vibe. The bartender was efficient and attentive. The crowd really got into the music.
Live music was fun! The guys made a crazy punk show, yet were extremely friendly and nice.

Dj Conway is probably the best karaoke dj I've ever laid eyes on (I've seen too many). This man let me belt linkin park out of key, whilst assisting with backup vocals. Man? Myth? Legend? Other worldly being? I couldn't tell you. What I can tell you is he and the rest of this staff treat ya like family.

Monday night karaoke night, very disrespectful people, dj was extremely disrespectful when I asked him a question, he told me don't talk to me and told me why are you watching me work? Go away, and then a customer who was his friend demanded that I leave, and I told him that I have no problem with anyone

Don't look for a marquee-they can't afford the permit -just look for the “Black Lives Matter” sign in the window at the bar across from Zocalo food truck court.This dive bar doesn't serve craft beer or cocktails, but they do serve a 100% punk rock atmosphere -and a safe space for ALL- and have a lovable cast of regulars and staff.Last Rites has live music mostly on the weekends with vinyl DJs peppered in through the weekdays and other events..Some of their regularly scheduled events include a Monday craft night and karaoke, a Wednesday nerd night. Every last Thursday is also Femme Punk dJ night.Worth checking out!
