Being my first Milwaukee layover in a few years I was eager to try Lazo’s because of everyone raving about the birria tacos.I will say this, the moment I took a bite of the chips and salsa, I knew the food would be good. A good chips and salsa is a strong indication anywhere of things to come.The birria tacos did not disappoint. The meat was tender, juicy and had soul in it and paired with the consommé it was phenomenal. All in all the food hit the spot.Service was also excellent and the server with the glasses was very attentive.I look forward to coming back on my next Milwaukee layover!

I orders the Bria tacos and a side of rice and beans the Bria tacos didn’t have enough cheese for me they was ok ??♀️ but the rice and bean ??the rice was dry like the desert and the beans tasted like beans straight from the can nothing special the salsa in chip was good and also they over charge me for the rice and beans I ordered separate sides and they are $3.10 each and they charge me $6.75 before taxes so the math not matching

Went once and then ordered delivery again so I could confirm. These birria tacos are good to the point that they're special. They give you four in a meal for a really decent price. Can't speak for the rest of the menu, but if you're in the mood for birria do not hesitate.

I thought this little place was excellent. Smaller menu, but big on quality. The Birria tacos are the way to go! Someone in my party said it wa the best chimichanga he has ever had. We had a group of 10 and walked in, they were able to accommodate no problem. The service was good and food came out fast. The drink menu was extensive. We didn’t get any pictures of the food besides the delicious fresh salsa because we ate it so fast!Parking: Only steeet parkingKid-friendliness: No kids menu

The BEST birria tacos in Milwaukee hands down. I’ve tried just about everywhere and no other place stands a chance. Atmosphere is great music is too low or too loud. If you need or want something a simple look at your server and they’ll come right over. Prices for the amount of food is absolutely killer. Everything I’ve ever order from Lazo’s is full full full of flavor. If you’re visiting Milwaukee or live here, you definitely should come check Lazo’s Tacos out. Seeing door dashers come in and out without waiting for more than 5 minutes is also a great sign they are doing something correct.
