First time going & it won’t be my last. They gave me free samples & had very friendly service and very good food. Ordered the oxtail with mac & cheese and greens for my sides and it was awesome. 10/10 recommend.

Delicious flavorful food. You could taste the love in the food. My husband and I ordered ribs and shoulder . The meat was so tender . My in-laws had the catfish . It was delicious too. Everyone was really nice . I love how they let you try the food before you buy it. 10 out of 10 absolutely recommend.

It was my first time buying with Lily Bells and I enjoyed the food The customer service was excellent I will be going there again ☺️

Was googling places that sold oxtails and ended up coming across Lily Bells because of all the great reviews. It definitely did not disappoint. The oxtails were delicious(very tender and you receive a big, meaty portion.) They allow you to sample the foods before you decide what to order. All the sides I tried were very good and well seasoned. I decided on the greens and smoked green beans, both great! Also, the owner was very friendly and fun. She made us feel very comfortable and like we were amongst family. I will definitely be back to try more dishes. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

great customer service and the food was amazing

I was able to sample the food before I purchased. The food was very, very good. I ordered the jerk chicken (had a just right enough of a kick), and curry chicken was very tasty. The collard greens made with smoked turkey and the Buffalo chicken Mac & cheese was delicious as well. There was enough food for me to have for lunch tomorrow. I was able to sample the seafood gumbo and which I buy the next time I come back. The owner and her co worker was very friendly and helpful. 👍👍💯

I was in town looking for some delicious catfish! My niece found this location on google. When we entered we were greeted and the vibe was great. In NC you can get good cornmeal fried catfish unless you fry it yourself. This restaurant has been there since November she was in a food truck. What was especially great is she let us sample the fish and sides. We sampled the catfish, buffalo chicken mac and greens all a 10 out of 10. We purchased the catfish dinner with a side of buffalo chicken Mac and greens. The overall visit experience was awesome she took our pictures and thank us for our support. I will be back when I come home to visit. Honestly I had catfish at other locations on my visit home and none of them compared!

I love this place so much! Mrs. Shea is such a sweet & kind person. She serves her food with passion while providing excellent customer service. She even had us try each dish to make sure we liked the food EVEN the dessert! Everything was exquisite & delicious. This small restaurant will blow your mind!

First time eating here and the service was very friendly and professional! The greens were good, didn’t even need hot sauce. The Mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy! The Jerk chicken was so tender and tasty! I did have a small issue with part of my order but the owner fixed it right away! And she was so professional about it, I really appreciated that. I will be back !! I love support black owned businesses and them having excellent customer service was a plus!

This was my first time in this city and was looking for something other than McDonald's and decided on soulfood. I was greeted with hospitality from the time I walked in the establishment Ms Shay sat me down and fixed my plate as if I were at granny's house, such a warming spirit. The jerk chicken, dirty rice and them collard greens was on point, I definitely will hit them up next time I'm in town.

I want to give this Women a shout out!! She was so sweet and her hospitality is amazing…. She gave me and my boyfriend samples to taste test, I loved that because as a first time customer I didn’t know what to expect. That Mac and cheese OMG soo good… I had the brisket and it was so juicy and flavorful!! If you love banana pudding the way I do that’s a must have right after.!! And don’t get me started on the mango splash… 10/10 support this small business. You will NOT be disappointed!
