Got the Philly steak sub--it was EXCELLENT!!! Saw other customers getting the loaded potatoes--they looked good and that's what I'll try next time. Customer Service was good and the place is bright and inviting.

If you love baked potatoes you have to go here even if you don't love it, you need to go here and it will change your mind about baked potatoes. Looking forward to going back. Nice location on Water Street directly across from BMO Harris bank on the corner. Downtown was missing this and I'm so happy that it's there. Plays amazing music for your soul while you enjoy your loaded spud.

I live right here in the neighborhood, and I’m so glad to have found The Loaded Spud! The food was absolutely fire — flavorful, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they put real care into every bite. I tried the loaded potato and it was packed with toppings, cooked just right, and honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
The customer service was just as impressive. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel like a regular even though it was my first visit. It’s always nice to support local businesses that not only serve great food but also show love to the community.
I’ll definitely be back soon — it’s a blessing having food this good so close to home!
Loaded Spud in Milwaukee is so damn fire! The food was incredible — I had the Pot Roast, and my cousin had the Surf & Turf — both were amazing. Perfect flavor, generous portions, and everything cooked to perfection.
It’s tucked right in a premiere spot downtown on the corner of Water Street, across from the Pabst Theater, so the vibe matches the quality — top-tier all around.
If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and pull up — I’m telling you, it’s worth it.

This place isn’t for me. We tried to go there and ended up leaving before we could finish ordering due to lack of options and the kiosk ordering. The only options for ordering drinks was water. They did have one kind of soda in the cooler, but it was just regular Pepsi and you couldn’t even order it. They didn’t have cookies left. And unless we ordered separately we couldn’t customize just one of our orders. It would have been about $8 for a baked potato with just butter and sour cream. No thanks! Maybe the food is good but I doubt I’ll ever go back.

Tried for the first time today and loved it. It seems like they have a few kinks to iron out (customizing your order at the kiosks, offering better silverware when dining in, maybe offer a few more beverage options? etc.) but the food was great, the people were friendly and obviously cared about their customer's experience, and the place had a great vibe and music. I also suggest having a full menu posted somewhere other than at the kiosks...I would think having things laid out better to view would allow for more upsale opportunities. I hope this place sticks around...I could see it becoming a community staple.

Above all, the atmosphere was spectacular to say the least. On one hand, you really can't go wrong potato inspired art, but the music really took it to the next level for me. I finally started to feel again (both me being full, but largely emotionally).
To some, this business is just food, but for me, it's really something more. Something healing... something that fills the stomach but also give me hope for better days to come.
