Well I ordered bacon on my burger and other toppings and got a naked burger... That was after I requested sauce that he insisted I didn't need. Basically I called and asked to be able to have a side of bacon since I paid for it but I guess he accidentally put all my toppings on another sandwich ordered but that my friend (that also had toppings) had. Her sandwich had other toppings on it and ate before me so literally didn't notice anything extra. So the owner tells me he won't replace the bacon and I could have a canned soda instead. So yeah, I was very excited to try this place out but was left with a lack luster plain burger and the owner wouldn't correct his mistake. (TOO BIG OF A LOSS FINANCIALLY FOR HIM HE SAID) Like I didn't need a refund.. just for the food I ordered. So yeah, I just sadly won't go in because my first time was kind of a bummer ? Like the owner is kind of a jerk.Oh then I was sick for two whole days..too pink of burger? IDK. Probably about the place.

Permanently closed. Google refuses to change it.
Taste very good. What I get here is just what I love. I know it can take longer sometimes, but it is so worth the wait.
The owner is extremely disrespectful and rude. He should not own or operate a business. The chef is incompetent and took 20+ minutes to make a hotdog. After I complained about the wait times and asked for a refund the owner told me his food is too high quality to refund. I will make it my goal nobody ever eats here again.I had to report the charge to my bank after the owner refused to give me my order

My son came into the restaurant with his girlfriend ordered a Chicago dog and steak sandwich paid and then was told 20 minutes for food when he stated why so long he was then refused his food or a refund am confused as to how you feel like it is ok to steal from your customers He spoke with the chef and owner. there is not point is replying as when he spoke to the owner he was threatened with physical violence. I really hope this place is closed down as ot is never ok to threaten people.

Worst customer service and owner is absolutely disrespectful and threatened my son with physical violence when he asked for a refund
Great food, experience, and atmosphere. The man working was kind to my son and I. You want a cool place with great food, stop here and buy small local.

Took 10 mins to Oder 30 mins to get a Chicago style hotdog and a beef polish with very few fries. He lost the key to get the soda area. He left the onion and pepper on my hotdog and the hotdog was salty . Had I said anything about them left on it would have taken another 20 mins. And to top it off he forgot about the shrimp that we ordered. It was our first time there and our last

This is the best burger i've had in a while, and it changed my life! Accidentally ordered it close to close (really sorry) but it was still very fresh and good. 10/10 will be back again. The fries are also amazing!
Vegetarian options: They have vegan options.

I went to this location ordered 2 Chicago dogs a medium fry a medium drink and a side of coleslaw and paid 21.16 for all of it and was told that it would be 15 minutes, it took 20 minutes after waiting the amount of time I received a can of soda burnt fry's hot dogs that were split and cooked open faced on a grill , the Cole slaw had a weird taste to it. I kept telling myself to just reserve judgment until after I got done eating which I did , I went to the restroom the women's restroom was out of order which I noticed as I passed it I used the rest room and the toilet barely flushed and after washing my hands the hand air dryer didn't work so I had to use toilet paper that was sitting on the top of the toilet to dry my hands. never again cost too much for substandard food I can give my business to some other business that is doing it right.!

The owner was cooking all alone on a busy Saturday night. Even at 10pm, he was taking orders, cooking, greeting and serving everyone with a smile on his face. It was honestly the best customer service I’ve had in awhile. The food was so good, we’ll definitely be back to try everything on the menu. Send this family your business - they 100000% deserve it.

Restaurant was short-staffed when we went in, but the people working made up for it by being so kind and wonderful. None of that to mention the incredible food. I had a vegan chili dog with vegan chili on top. It was the best hot dog I've ever had. The included fries were also dyn-o-mite.We also got to try the fried pickles and mushrooms with a beta menu item that will hopefully see the light of day soon. Y'all are gonna lose your minds over it.Planning to return to Milwaukee this weekend and will definitely be back.
Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian hot dog, chili dog, etc.
Parking: The shop itself shares parking lot with other businesses, but there seems to be a good amount of spaces. Parking is also available on the surrounding block.
Dietary restrictions: They had no problem accommodating meat-free and gluten-free diners in our party.

These burgers are so good, and to say they are a good value is an understatement! There aren’t many folks that could handle a triple butter burger from Chars! Very nice staff too, I’ll be back to try the buffalo chicken sandwich and chili.
This place will be out of business inside 3 months. Don’t bother trying it before it’s gone. Burgers are fine but they nickel and dime you for basic toppings (.50 for 3 tiny pickles?!?) and service is beyond slow. Broken soda fountain so sodas no longer being included in kids meals is a nice touch as well.EDIT-No hatred. Just calling it as I see it. Expectations for a counter-service place include quicker service. Goal of cooking everything fresh and made-to-order is noble but efficiencies are needed to turn orders around quicker and it is imperative to get the orders correct (I guess I could have asked for more pickles whenever I had a chance to get the bacon missing from my burger!!! Instead I felt bad for the table of 6 that ordered right after us and still didn't have their food). For a "fine dining" experience, a knife and fork would have then been nice as well. Upgraded to 2 stars cause, as I said, the food was fine. The cheese curds were good but was mostly fries with a couple of curds (Why?!?). The burger was fine as well but nickel and diming on standard toppings (ie, pickles) seems desperate and sours the experience. I imagine that making the menu more streamlined would go a long way to increasing efficiency and that investing in another employee to work the dinner shift would as well. Otherwise, I am not sure what demographic Louie's hits as I don't think there is widespread demand for slow-casual counter-service dining (or much upside in that model without serving alcohol). Would love to support every small business and restaurant and see them succeed but you have to define what you are first and make that clear. I've seen many restaurants in this no-man's land before and it never works. Wish you the best in figuring it out.
First time eating here and I enjoyed every bit of it! The food, costumer service and atmosphere was really great! The Korean burger is a must have. Me and my family will be back !
