Attended a private dinner event and it exceeded my expectations. The service was unmatched, they made sure we were comfortable and even answered my more specific questions about the dishes.
When one of the members of my party shared they were gluten free, the team immediately went and created all the appetizers without gluten for her.
All of the food was delicious and beautifully presented.
I would highly recommend visiting and hosting events here.

I wish I had taken pictures! This was the best dinner we've had in Milwaukee in years. Normally when we go out go out, we can pinpoint the best dish of the night, but at Lupinand Iris everything we had was the best dish of the night.
If you're looking for something fun, I would highly recommend sitting near the kitchen. It was quite fun to watch the kitchen in action.
We normally skip dessert however our server noted that everything is done in house and we were quite glad that we ended up getting dessert!

Absolutely stunning restaurant with extraordinary service. Danielle at the bar was absolutely amazing as was Julie, our server. Both ladies were so knowledgeable of the menu and about the restaurant. Danielle gave us so many excellent recommendations and Julie gave us a little tour of the kitchen and restaurant. The food was out of this world. Wish we would’ve had saved enough room for dessert. Next time.

I will Not rave about the service
I will Not pontificate about the atmosphere
I won't even with the olive oil cake
All I'm going to say is:
IF you don't have the Saffron Flan you're a moron.
Don't be a moron. Have the Saffron Flan.

We were recommended by a local to come here for a good meal, and it sure did not disappoint! The beef tartare was phenomenal. The cacio e pepe and eggs in purgatory were both delicious as well. Portions were not huge but filling. Great spot if you’re in the area!

**Disappointing Tasting Menu Experience**
We came in with high hopes for the tasting menu and added the wine pairing, but unfortunately, the entire experience fell far short of expectations.
From the start, service was painfully slow — we waited 15 to 20 minutes between each course, which made the meal feel more like a chore than a special night out. The food itself didn’t redeem the wait: the pasta was under-seasoned and bland, the steak was downright awful — over-marinated to the point of being mushy, with an overpowering sweet flavor that overwhelmed the dish. My husband couldn't even finish a single bite of the dessert — it was that bad.
Shockingly, the best part of the meal was the salad. When the salad stands out above everything else in a tasting menu, you know something’s gone wrong.
Our server was sweet and brought us a complimentary glass of wine, which we appreciated, but unfortunately, they didn’t seem to know much about the wine pairings, which left that part of the experience feeling disjointed and underwhelming.
Overall, we left disappointed and frustrated. For the price and the promise of a curated tasting menu, this meal missed the mark on nearly level. The low point of our weekend in Milwaukee.

Last night I had what may be one of the best meals of my life.
I Had a bone in veal chop that literally melted in my mouth and was simply amazing! Then for dessert I had something that can only be described as sublime. It was a caramel custard with a chocolate cremeux and chantilly cream. It had so many levels of flavor that I swear I needed a cigarette after finishing it. 😆 🤣 😂

We recently dined at Lupi & Iris and were completely blown away by the experience. From the elegant, modern atmosphere to the beautifully crafted dishes, everything was top-tier. What truly elevated the evening, though, was the outstanding service from our waiter, Ian.
Ian was the perfect combination of professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations and answered every question with care and enthusiasm. His attention to detail, impeccable timing, and warm personality made our night feel seamless and special.
Lupi & Iris offers an elevated dining experience, and with someone like Ian taking care of you, it becomes truly memorable. We left already talking about when we’ll be back.
Highly recommended for a refined night out—you won’t be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I just visited and had a fantastic time. We were served by Christopher. He was so nice and knew the menu extremely well. Everything he recommended was spot on! This is our favorite place in MKE and we can't wait to come back.
