We had a delicious meal with our good friends at Lupi & Iris. I had the best swordfish here and also tried Octopus and smoked trout for the first time. My husband had the sole which they filet tableside. Perfectly executed dinner from the quality to the 5 star service.

Our server Sage was absolutely lovely. I always appreciate in an establishment that is supposed to mimic a fancy dining experience having someone warm, fun, and spirited taking care of us. However; for the price of plating, we felt that the food really lacked flavor and quality. There wasn’t much flavor to the lobster plate I ordered last night and it was pretty tough/rubbery and hard to chew, indicating it was overcooked, disappointing since the plate was $65. There was a table of children near us where parents played their phones very loud to entertain their children to keep them from crying, visibly upsetting the guests around us including ourselves. This is a very expensive restaurant and we were celebrating our anniversary and the guests next to us their birthday, so the vibes were killed with the excessive noise, as well as hearing complaints around us, really bringing down the mood. Sage did ask us about our meals and we lied saying it was fine, we honestly just wanted to leave as fast as we could. Any other day, we would have been vocal, but the negative energy around was just too much. I gave it a 2 star because Sage was the only good experience, and she gifted us cheesecake for our anniversary. I unfortunately, wouldn’t recommend.

As a local real estate broker, it is essential to know all of of Milwaukee’s best places to go. This 👏 place 👏 SLAPS! Came here to take my partner out for his birthday and arrived for our reservation at the chef’s counter thinking we might have to wait and they were already ready for us (best seat in the house by the way) and watching the cooking and waitstaff staff and how they operate was like a literal ARTFORM, a real treat! Was given recommendations by our server, sommelier, and the general manager Megan and even checked on by the head chef! The service here is on point! We started off by getting a wine recommendation from the sommelier, who intently listened to us and selected us the PERFECT wine. Per Megan’s recommendation we started off with the scallops, unnnnffff we instantly made them disappear. My favorite was the beef tartare, melts in your mouth I would have gotten a picture but was too distracted 🤤. Pictured are our mains- we had the waygu steak and the lamb chops with black truffles added - both cooked to our medium rare preferences and flavors phenomenal. We ended our meal with 2 desert wines recommended by our server and 2 deserts, the date cake which was my favorite and the Carmel mousse pudding. Usually we aren’t desert people but we killed ALL of it, it was that good. Hands down, best meal we’ve ever had- I’m still internally crying tears of joy over it. 11/10 and going back AGAIN!

Made a Valentines Day reservation for my gf and I as it was our first time at L&I. The atmosphere inside is vibrant, modern, clean, and has a certain ambiance to it. Our server was very polite, attentive, and knowledgeable about the drink and food menu. The star was the food, a 3 course dinner that was very memorable. Out of all the dishes my gf and I got, her short rib was the best. It was so tender she could cut it with her spoon and the sauce impeccable. I will highly recommend L&I to anyone looking for an amazing fine dining experience.

A delicious 3 course menu with many options at Lupi & Iris. The dining room was fancy and beautiful, but I also think it would have been amazing to watch the kitchen work at the kitchen bar spots. So many great options and all were enjoyed. It is heavy food, so be prepared for a stuffed stomach afterwards. The favorite of mine was the chocolate mousse cake with raspberry jam. A perfect end to a great evening! Unfortunately, I would say it is a tad overpriced compared to other amazing options in Milwaukee.

Jeff was a fantastic server and Chris the sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
This is a foodie dream experience. Sitting at a table in full view of the kitchen watching the executive chef, mere feet away, expediting service, calling out the other chefs for order after order of exquisitely plated food! As the night wears on, the staff begin to interact with you more and more until they are commenting and joking with you as you gleefully dine on delectable plates of yummy goodness! All within the surreal setting of Lupi & Iris. This is as good as it gets, folks. Don't kid yourself and pass up a chance to dine here if you're in Milwaukee. Yes, it is expensive. Yes, it is worth every penny. Yes... sit at the chef's table if you can. Worth. It. Talk to your server, ask them for recommendations, and let them help guide you to some pretty amazing dishes. The Cozze e Vongle (Mussel and Clam) appetizer was a great start to the meal, and a good bit of spice helped this dish bring out the flavors of the broth, beans, and tomato along with a hit of anchovy. And save that wonderfully warm bread to get every last drop of this broth... better yet, ask for seconds... that bread is too good to wait on! The asparagus, mushroom, and fried egg salad was just light enough with the sherry vinaigrette to help balance out the egg and frisee. If you love pasta, then this is also a great place to start because they offer several dishes on a rotating basis as appetizers. We tried three, and they were all heavy on flavor and perfect portions to get away with trying multiples without feeling too guilty. We recommend Corzetti with walnut sauce. O. M. G. Amazing. The Daube de Ravioli is filled with braised in a red wine sauce, and if you like lobster, try the risotto...so many huge chunks of meat! The Dover Sole is de-boned tableside and a darn good fish cooked to perfection, but be careful with the persillade sauce... it packs some saltiness hidden in that yummy goodness... use sparingly. A roasted veal chop grilled with an anchovy crust... you read that right... anchovy crust... so, so good, and we don't usually like anchovies. One of our favorites of the night was the Caramel Pots de Creme... basically salted caramel baked custard with incredibly decadent whipped creme and crunchy chocolate wafers. Oh... so good! Staff was amazing and attentive and the ambiance could not be better!

This restaurant was recommended to us, and we decided to celebrate our anniversary with dinner here. So glad we did! The food was delicious! Appetizers, drinks, entrees and desserts were all wonderful, but the goat cheese appetizer, Dover sole entree and date cake dessert were exceptional! Our server, CJ (sp?), made this dining experience extra special! She’s exactly what you hope for in a server, and we so appreciated how much she contributed to our delightful evening!

Been here 3 times now, 2 were special dinner events in the back room and once we were at the chefs counter. Each visit was awesome! Food and service were excellent. I appreciate that every piece of every item seems well thought and intentional. They have a great wine list, and some nice NA options. There is street parking around, but they also validate parking in the lot next door (discounted parking, not free).
