This place is a Milwaukee institution. They always have cool events and DJs and shows going on. There's a great covered outdoor smoking Lounge area as well as a big dance floor pool table and plenty of space to have fun. The bartenders are all very friendly and welcoming. I've often noticed one bartender name to Bianca goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome and enjoy our time there. If you've never been here, you're missing out

Make sure you buy twice as many drinks, does tend to fill up in there. Halloween party this year was fantastic. Loved all the costumes and the decor. Solid pool table with a purple glow đ

Its an interesting dive bar in my favorite neighborhood of Milwaukee. Riverwest. The Halloween decor was super creative.

My sister was SAâd while dancing and the security guards LET THE MAN GO OUT AND KEEP DANCING with zero investigation.
On Halloween night while dancing with my sister & mom an inebriated man groped my sisterâs breasts and she had to push him off of her, so I followed the man to point him out to one of the security guards. After explaining what happened, the security guard said heâd âkeep an eye on himâ, then left him to go talk with his coworkers, so the man just went back out onto the dance floor and was not ONCE questioned or investigated. My sister is a survivor of r*pe so she was extremely traumatized and we just ended up leaving to take her home. So disgusted that this type of behavior is just acceptable. Itâs too bad because the environment and bartenders at Mad Planet seemed very cool, but our whole night was tainted by the lack of action by their so-called âsecurity guardsâ.
Also, if my SISTER was the one who was intoxicated it wouldâve been âher faultâ or she wouldâve âbeen asking for itâ because men are never held accountable for their despicable behaviors.

Cover was $7 with $5 ciders plus tip. Very reasonably priced drinks and safe, comfortable atmosphere. Covered and walled smoking section that felt more like a garage and protected from the elements/ wisconsin weather. Also, I must note that it never felt like I was in a smoking room. About 10% or less of the people in the smoking area were smoking each time we went out there.
