Mai breakfast Bar & grill

I really don't make this kind of review anywhere but I truly had the most bizarre dining experience here on Sunday 10/27. We came here with friends because we have a brunch club and I thought based on the website this would be a good spot. We walked in and it was basically empty besides 5 people, we sit by the bar to eat and order bloody and mimosa. We watch the bartender in front of us pour just tomato juice and some seasoning, and for the mimos just pour orange juice and starry. I didn't even notice until my friend told me what she had poured. We already ordered the sampler platter so we decided to just wait and close out. It took a while for our drinks, but took a bit longer for food too even when no one was there. Based on the drinks and the air fried dry appetizers we just closed our and left. I really thought I was being punked LOL where is ashton. Oh also they charged us full price bloody and mimosa, we just did not feel comfortable staying and decided not to complain and go to somewhere else. We spent 60 DOLLARS on 3 non alcoholic alcoholic drinks, and 2 beers, and a sampler platter. I don't understand the reviews and it must have gone down hill haha

Got biscuits n gravy says on menu comes with hash browns n eggs 1.00 xtra..asked for cheese on eggs..came back to room no cheese n no hash biscuits. ..called up about errors..she says " no hash browns w/ B n G.! And said no cheese either..so I said can I get free browns cause no cheese n paid for cheese change menu about browns not coming with..n she says sorry no free browns n hangs up ph...BTW.. B N G..WAS MICROWAVE HARD BISCUITS N SKIMPY..WASTE OF 14.00 ..A CAN OF COLD HASH WOULD HAVE BEEN SATISFYING. CHEAPO N JUNK FOOD..BOO..

This place is fine. We came right before lunch and it was very quiet.
Staff were friendly though not particularly attentive and they needed a few reminders to bring things we ordered. We did need to flag them down for the bill after waiting a bit.
Food was ok. It wasn't very hot and the waffle was soft and floppy.
Portion sizes were fine.
I would be willing to try this place again when it's a little busier.

Do not eat here! My group waited 1 hour and 50 minutes and our food didn't even come yet. Waitress was rude, and their cook shouldn't even be allowed to cook. Horrible experience had to leave what a disappointment for mothers Day. And there were only 3 families there.

The 3 ladies that were there tonight were absolutely amazing and very welcoming. The prices for the food was really reasonable and the food's taste was unreal. It was by far the juiciest burger I have ever had and the fries were perfect.

If you happen to be in the area amd have the time for some good food, definitely drop by and order up.

Usually leary of places with huge menus that serve everything, but this place has always served spot on dishes. I also don't usually order burgers but their Asian burger was phenomenal. (Fresh burger not frozen) Cabbage, cilantro, onion, tomato and teriyaki sauce. I added mozzarella and combined it was perfect.

I run a local networking group that meets for breakfast (Business Over Breakfast) twice a month in the Milwaukee area. We had to find a new location and Mai Cafe was MORE than happy to accommodate our request! Our server Carol was fabulous and tended to our group of 20+ attendees all on her own. I received a phone call from the owner (Mai) that evening thanking me for bringing the group to her establishment and she is happy to have us back!Food was great (large menu offered from open to close)Service was fantastic!If you haven't been there in a few years, check out all of the updates they've done - looks great inside!Our first meeting there was great and we look forward to returning in 2 weeks!

It nasty bugs in hotel room too many bugs bite

Mai"s Restaurant is an awesome place, it has a bar connected to it but it has a big door separating it, so the bar doesn't interfere with the nice restaurant. The food is excellent and the prices are on par with other places but the serving sizes are bigger. The waitresses are always pleasant and it's a great place for kids as well. The bar has FREE pool and music (as long as you're drinking). Moreover it's connected to a decent priced hotel so you don't have to drive drunk. The drink prices are great as well. It's a very nice place with cheap drinks and food.

Vegetarian options: They have fresh made Spring Rolls with no meat. You can order just about anything on the menu without meat so your options are huge.

Kid-friendliness: Try the Kids Pancake breakfast, your kids will love it. The waitresses are great with kids too. They also have highchairs and coloring books as well. Kids get a free sucker!

Parking: More than adequate parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible, and the employees are happy to help.

Dietary restrictions: You can order your food however you want so there's plenty of possibilities.
