I’ve never had Maria’s pizza before only went due to a recommendation from a friend, sorry to say it’s one of the worst tasting pizza’s I’ve ever had! The little sauce on it was bland, very little cheese, over kill on the raw onions, and shredded mushrooms, back in the 80’s I made pizza’s for Neds Pizza, we took pride in every pizza we made and they were fantastic. These pizza’s are poorly slapped together, bland is an over statement for the taste. Don’t waste your money. This is what we had left after 3 adults finished eating, headed for the trash!

It was as good as I remember. A little skimpy on the mushrooms and onions. Crust was almost shaped as a surf

Not the same as the the old.Sausage was of lower qualityMushrooms were non existent but onion was way too muchWhen you order 2 lg specials you expect cheese Sausage onion and mushroomsI got a bunch of crap thrown on a crust by someone with a severe lack of pride in their work.

Have been coming here since the 80s and is my favorite BUT. The pizza is exactly the same as it was when they closed but the prices aren't. Before close 21 for a large pepperoni, sausage and onion. Now, 29. Plus 3 for tip for pickup. 32. I'm sorry but that's not happening. Hate to see you go Maria's but gotta say goodbye.

What a disappointment this new place is.Pizza was thin crust, but soggy not cooked Properly. Like they were rushing it out. not what it used to be. Good luck. We will not return.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but Maria’s has taken the top spot for Pizza over Zaffiros in MKE, in my book. 2.7/3. Pepperonis are outrageously good, sausages good too. I would suggest eating right away as it did get cold before I could get it back to brewers hill. CONSIDER TRYING THE SMALL - I think the undercarriage would have less flop in the middle - advice from our pizza god, Dave portnoy

I haven't had Maria's in years but it's my dad's favorite pizza from growing up. So for his birthday, we tried it after the new owners bought it. I thought it was excellent. Nice crisp thin crust with a few nice crispy bubbles. Ingredients taste fresh and were used in good proportion. My dad said it tastes like "the old Maria's crust."It took a few times to get through to put in my phone order. But once I got through, the service was very friendly and efficient. They said about an hour, and my pizza was ready when I walked in. It was nice and hot and I could tell it had not been sitting for long at all.We hope they keep it up and are around for many years to come!

Pizza was dry and burnt. I paid for extra toppings yet only got extra mushrooms. Disappointed our fist time trying since they reopened!

Getting this pizza on a Friday night is a complete hassle. From finding a place to park to getting your pizza anywhere close to on time, the whole thing becomes an experience. Walk in and witness the dining area filled with the irritated faces of people waiting. An unsinkable friendly woman working the register will sincerely call you 'dear' and lie straight to your face about when your pizza will be ready. Just stand still near the dough counter for a few minutes and you'll understand why she needs to. In a teeny amount of space with over-sized blazing hot pizza ovens, seven people are working their tails off in almost perfect synchronicity to fill hundreds of orders while Pennies from Heaven bops and bounces around the atmosphere creating a scene of delightful chaos that is a treasure to behold. An hour and a half later, you'll get your pizza and realize what all the hype is about. The chewy thin, almost burnt bubbly crust is so long you'll need a couple cardboard rounds under to support it. With barely any sauce but a generous amount of toppings this pizza is our family's favorite. You can enjoy this pizza too, just go into it knowing it's a two hour commitment.

Not the same as old Maria’s… took 2 hours for my pizza and they just threw my raw supreme pizza toppings on someone else’s cheese to get me out.
