Glad I tried them before they closed down , not the greatest imo they where very simple and I think that was the beauty of them nothing fancy or tiktokish about them just a good ol plain hamburger ? it tasted fresh and it took a while for it to come out which for fresh food I was willing to wait sad to see them go. Waiters weren't the greatest either.

Every time a list Of best hamburger places is posted. Mazo's hamburgers are consistently highly ranked for a good reason: the burgers are never frozen and are freshly ground. The French fries are crisp and tasty. With every combo, you get two sides. The sides you can choose from are baked beans, cole slaw, French fries, and the fourth, I don't remember, the sides I choose were French fries and baked beans, and honestly, everything was perfect; mazos is one of the oldest diners in the area, so will I go back, and the answer is yes; every chance I get,
When I wrote this review, I had no clue that it would be my last visit to Mazo’s, After 90 years, they decided to close the doors; we went the last week, they were open, and it was sad to see such a Milwaukee landmark shut its doors. Mazo’s, you will be missed. Thanks for all the years, and whatever you guys do next, I hope you find great joy in whatever adventure you take on next

Mazos has been a family favorite as long as I can remember, I can hardly remember my mom talking me there when I was little, we have went there so many times in life, and I’m only 35, not many burger joints in Milwaukee compared to Mazos, sure will be missed! 🍔

One of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had! The sides of fries and chicken noodle soup were also very good.
Look I'm no Karen in the slightest, but a bit of empathy could go a long way if you're working a customer service job. Waited 25 minutes for our shakes and then another hour+ waiting for our burgers. For a table of 2. Not one word was spoken to us during our wait. No apology when they finally did bring the food. Even pretending to care would have been enough to prevent this review.

You're not going to have a single complaint, amazing hamburger done simply right. We couldn't stay so we took it to go and it was every bit worth it! I believe we interacted with the owner but whoever we interacted with was communicatable friendly and everything else I would wish for in a service of any type.
