Mazos is a delicious classic style burger joint with great customer service and an awesome tasting burger. Delicious diner spot with limited seats available and always busy. I was lucky to stop in right before the lunch rush. They accept card, but please bring cash for service and tips. If you are looking for the best local burger that is old school, filling, and great price, this is your spot.

Feels a bit like a blast from the past and I love it. The burger and hand made potato fries were delicious. I'll definitely return when I'm in the neighborhood again.

I love how quaint and old Timey the diner looks and don't even get me started on the cheeseburger with lots of fried onions and ketchup. There's no better burger in all of Milwaukee County and that may just include Nite Owl! I can't decide I love them both! I will continue to go here for the rest of my life. Love it!

Mazos (learned it’s pronounced May-zos!) is absolutely stellar. Stopped here because the fabulous MKE food writer, Lori Fredrich, raved about their no-frills yet delicious food and burgers. This place is worth the stop! Be patient with the small team, as they are working tirelessly the entire time they are open. We went on a Thursday and it was nearly full the entire lunchtime with families, workers, etc. coming in to dine-in or take an order to go. Shout out to the gal in the back kitchen who calmly churned out beautiful orders of friends and burgers to the place. Phenomenal food, and one of those burgers that will leave you feeling full but not hurting after you eat it. That is an art!P.s. Sit at the counter, if you can, so you can watch all the action! And try their chili/soups!!!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly space, no alcohol served here.

After reading reviews and people claiming this was the best burger spot in Milwaukee, I was excited to check out what people call a hidden gem, but will not be going back. Place was busy, but not crazy busy as there were open tables when we arrived and there aren’t a lot of tables. We were sat right away, and waited patiently for menus. After about 10 minutes we asked one of the servers if we could get menus. They brought them right away, and since there isn’t a ton on the menu, we made our choices pretty quick. After another 10 minutes or so, a gentleman came to take our order. After about 15 minutes we asked the first server again if we could get the sodas we ordered. So about half hour in and no sodas yet. She brought them right way, and a few minutes later the soup my girlfriend ordered. She said the soup was good, but hard to mess up chicken noodle soup. More waiting. About an hour after we arrived our burgers showed up. If you like well done burgers maybe you’ll like these more than we did, but nothing special about this food whatsoever. Well done patties, with some tomato, onion and lettuce. I had to hunt down a server for the Cole slaw I ordered instead of soup. I got it after I was done eating. Maybe we were the exception to the rule, because we saw the table next to us at least get menus, orders and beverages much faster than we did, but the overall experience was not good. In a town full of good burger joints, this for me was not one of them.

A Milwaukee gem! An OG burger spot that does their specialty well with care and expertise! I will definitely be back. My burger was made to order and the staff was present and engaged. If you haven't been here before, you're missing out! Get over to the place! Trust, you'll enjoy it!
