The air conditioning sucks! It is so hot always like unbearable hot but we love the food and monday karaoke. The service is super bad. We come every week and tip well. Slow as molasses but food is great! Food comes out quick!

There is no air conditioning so we opened the back door to get some air flow, which several tables thanked us for doing that. After waiting at our table for 10 minutes without acknowledgment, we informed the bartender where we were sitting. A waitress then came over with menus and indicated that she would bring waters before taking our drink orders. Although the water arrived, we waited an additional 10 minutes without the waitress returning, so we decided to leave. I rated the food as a 5 based on previous visits, where it was excellent. Unfortunately, after sitting for 20 minutes and only receiving water this time, we didn't have the chance to review the food.

The food is amazing here and the staff is super friendly. The food is a little on the slower side to arrive, so just be prepared for a little bit of a wait and you will be fine. My only real complaint was there was no AC on so it was quite warm! It is also a bit loud from the music. But that's to be expected at a bar. Otherwise everything is great. Really generous portions, you are unlikely to walk away hungry.

Great iconic Milwaukee place for drinks and food before Brewers games. Food is really good and they have a large menu. Bar is good, a variety of local favorites on tap. I also had a whiskey Door County cherry cocktail that was amazing.
Vegetarian options: Several good veg options with meat substitutes
Parking: Street parking on north ave, lots of protected side spaces along the main drag.
Kid-friendliness: Might be. A bit rough for kids just based on the neighborhood. Inside the venue is fine but the street vibe is a bit much.
The only reason I gave this a 3 star is the beer was cold. I agree with the other reviewers the Mcbobs of the old days are gone. The corned beef was good. However I had to wait at the bar to even be recognized and it was not busy. I have visited at different times of this day and its like a ghost town. I always remembered it being very busy especially after work. No more. The drinks have changed and are pretty much like drinking juice you should at least taste the alcohol. We had to ask for plates napkins and silverware. Just not the same! Once they change the cornbeef just close the doors. Also the new owner was very stuffy. Not welcoming at all. This in a neighborhood bar not the Ritz! You need to be more friendly and interact with your patrons.
When I said when they change the corned beef i meant if they ever do. Maybe I could have worded that part differently. My main complaint was with the drinks the service and the wait time. Thanks for the feedback.

Called in a order at 6:30. Was told it would be ready in a half hour...got there at 7 paid for my order....never got it...waited another 15 minutes asked about it they said it was ready....waited another 15 minutes asked again they went to check on it and couldn't find it !!!! So now they take my order again come back with my burritos ten minutes later...did apologize offered me a can soda for the wait.... get in the car bite the burrito and the MF cold !!!!

I've been eating the BEST reuben in the world at McBob's for well over a decade. Each and every time, I leave 100% satisfied. How could it get better? Well, it just happened 2 days ago...the marble rye was toasted SO perfectly that I need to give it 6 stars! This was the best one EVER! There's no reason to have a reuben anywhere else...why settle?
