The Reuben I ordered from here was bad, and the corned beef that came on it was extremely salty and fatty. For $20+, that’s crazy. It didn’t really satisfy that Reuben craving for me. The bartender on the phone was nice!

I have been coming to McBob’s for the last 20 years and have never had better service than that of Skeeter. I came in for my usual corned beef and beer, and left satisfied and warmly welcomed. It was refreshing as hell, that sister is real!!! Give them a try- you won’t regret it.

My friends and I had an exceptional experience today at McBob’s, due in large part to our server Skeeter. She was attentive, patient, gracious, and gave wonderful recommendations. We enjoyed the bloody Mary’s, potato wedges with different sauces, and especially our dessert of beignets with pumpkin cream inside. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly. This restaurant team is committed to giving back to the local community, which is also beautiful to behold.

Went in for dinner and drinks (11/07/2025) before a concert. Nobody ever greeted us and we had to ask if we could just sit at the bar and order food. Was told yes from a very nice, male server. The bartender (Ashley) was not attentive AT ALL!!! Other people were coming in after us and she was serving them 1st until we finally asked for menus and drinks. Food comes out and it was mediocore. I got the Highlander burger, she got the Rueben. The corned beef was super salty and fatty. Was never checked on, never refilled our waters, never got us another round of drinks! Had to ask the male server for a box and our bill. I tried to flag down the owner, but she was ducked off in a corner on her cell phone. As expensive as this place is, the service sucks and the quality of the food is poor

We order from McBob's ALL THE TIME! The food and customer service is usually pretty decent. At the time of our last order, we ordered through Door Dash. When the food arrived, we noticed that our orders were not prepared as we requested (we called after placing the order to ensure our meal requests would be filled per our specifications). We both had dry pieces of corned beef on our sandwiches and the meat was saltier than normal. We called the restaurant to inform them that our orders weren't prepared per our requests and also to inform that we were missing food items. We were told that our complaint would be forwarded to the manager and that someone would call us...Needless to say we did not receive a call back, so we called again...Still no call back, and we are very, very disappointed and still dissatisfied. We spent too much money to have our orders prepared wrong and to also be served food that did not meet our satisfaction. We are offended that we did not hear back from the manager, and we won't spend money w/McBob's again. Luckily, there are other restaurants in the area that serve good corned beef and we will do business with them next time. These restaurants charge an excessive amount of money for their product, it is their responsibility to satisfy the customer!!
