I haven’t lived in Milwaukee in 9 years and I still think of McBobs corned beef Reuben. Thinking of flying there just to eat and drink.

I ordered two Corned Beef & Reuben sandwich meals and waited about an hour just to receive my food. When it finally came, it was cold and extremely salty. This was my second time visiting—my first time was about a year ago—and unfortunately, the experience hasn’t improved. The food is definitely not worth paying $22 per sandwich for the quality and servic not worth it, Very disappointing.

My husband said it was the best reuben he's ever had. My daughter thought it would be better if the meat was sliced. I had the taco. It was more like a burrito and hard to eat. Very filling! Friendly service, but hard to get a server when we needed something.

Gluten free fish fry!!!! Woooohoooo! Makes me do a little. Came in Friday night and had a blast. There was live music in a tent in back. Ellen said it was the owner’s birthday party. What a good time, great food, and Ellen was the best bartender ever. She made me “her” margarita and I have to say, I am in love. Thanks for the great noght

First off, Teressa, the manager, sets the tone the moment you walk in. Warm, welcoming, attentive — the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time through the door.
She took great care of me and made sure everything was perfect.
Then there’s Chef G… my goodness.
I ordered the Blackened Catfish with Potato Pancakes, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it might be the best plate of catfish I’ve had in the city — and dare I say the region.
Perfectly seasoned, beautifully blackened, flaky and tender. And the potato pancakes? Crispy, golden, and exactly the kind of pairing that makes you pause after the first bite and just nod in appreciation.
Great food, great people, great atmosphere.
If you’re in Milwaukee and haven’t been to McBob’s, fix that immediately.

Been coming here for 20 years for hot beef tacos!! A big burrito minus the beans so aka a BIG taco!!! Always elite!!! Get jalepenos or whatever the hot stuff is!!! But this review is for the corned beef/reuben!!! Had to get extra CB the other day! Was iconic!!! PIXIE the worker is top notch!!! Karokee mondays is insane, very loud for a Monday but i get it…all in all 10/10 vibes and tasty eats!!!!!!
