It was a bit chilly to sit outside but I would go back in the summer to sit on the deck on the river. I grabbed a seat at the bar and bartenders must have been in shift change. Took a minute to get a menu, a hello. I ordered a flight of beers and dinner. I spent a bit of time here, resting my feet and taking in the place. Nice atmosphere, food was pretty good bar food.

I'm not one to complain, but this was next level. I was dining at this restaurant last night when I found a HUGE black spider INSIDE my salad, it crawled out from under a leaf as I was taking a bite. This spider was nickel sized with a huge black body. It was so bad it made my entire table sick to their stomach and we were unable to finish eating anything. To make matters worse our server did not ask if I wanted anything else to eat, and did not check on us for a very long time even though we wanted to leave immediately. No manager came out, although I suspect everybody saw the spider because once she brought the plate back the kitchen staff and waitresses were looking at our table from the kitchen. Overall, bad dining experience and I am now sick to my stomach whenever I think about eating a salad from a restaurant.

We had a great time, fish and chips, a burger, a grilled cheese, some of the best cheese curds in the area. The Brewers were on the big screens and it got a little busier after the game ended. Our server was absolutely fantastic, gave some good recommendations that were well appreciated. Good Beers too.

In the past, the buffalo chicken sandwich left something to be desired (very thin and dry). But today, today was different. It's been a while and I needed something quick before a meeting (I work close by), so I ordered the same crispy chicken buffalo sandwich and it was AMAZING! A thick, juicy, perfectly fried piece of chicken and all of my special requests were taken care of. Thank you so much for a wonderful lunch. Keep it up!

Cheese curd app and beers were great, but the entrees left something to be desired. Sort of tasteless honestly and just meh. We got burgers, a breaded chicken sandwich, and a salad between the four of us and we all felt like they were just ok. I don't think I'd go back, and if I did I would stick to apps and beers. I did read a good amount of reviews before going and saw they were very mixed, but wanted to give them a shot anyways and decide for myself how I liked it. I feel like they sort of take advantage of customers as in they have the location on the river and cool ambiance, so they just serve mediocre food cuz ppl will come anyways. There's no drive to improve the food.

Nice atmosphere, right on the water. Food was good. We had the wings, pizza, and kids meals and all was tasty. Good beer/drink selection.

We stopped by the ale house prior to attending a show at the Am Fam amphitheater. We were running late and they graciously held our reservation until we arrived. They had a large party but our food came out quick. Our server was great. And the sweet potato fries were amazing. Wish we could have sat outside but the pending storms kept us in.

I got weird vibes from the bartenders, who could've at least greeted us while we waited to be seated instead on what appeared to be just gossiping. After that, everything was great! Our server treated us kindly and was attentive. The food was fairly priced - we got the nachos and a pizza to share. The variety of drinks was great. We didn't stay for trivia, but it looked fun and inviting!
It was beautiful, sat outside, we had a great table, the drinks were fabulous, our waitress was excellent, the Bucks were on the tv, the vibe was awesome, great night with girlfriends ❤️

Underwhelming to say the least. Waitress was all over the place, limited menu, burger was dry (even with all the fixings) and the bun was stale. Fries were dense, chicken fingers were 'good', but kids pasta was like ketchup and macaroni. Likely short staffed but that doesn't explain the food. If this place was ever good, it isn't anymore. Plenty of other choices downtown.

Love the atmosphere of this place! Visited the other day and had good beer and ordered the chicken Mac n cheese. Right now, would not recommend the mac. Was served real liquid-y and had no cheesy/creamy flavor at all. Tasted like bacon & noodles.Will visit again and try something else.
