I posted a complaint AB’s never even heard back from owner/ manager. The complaint is the most rude cashier I have ever encountered. She snatched the cash out of my hand and had the ugliest look on her face. No one must care to address it

While on this incredible road trip I was in a state where I knew absolutely nothing and no one. So I put in restaurants near me and trusted the reviews. I was not disappointed in the least! Check it out, even if you have to drive from the coast. ;)

This place has been here for ages and this was the first time I had actually gone in to get lunch. I ordered the entree of the day which was two chicken chimichangas with rice and beans. (Photo shows my meal half eaten, but at least I remembered to get a picture this time.)
The chimichangas were flavorful, I love the added cilantro on the rice and beans. The beans oddly reminded me of chocolate pudding cups but that was probably my taste buds.
I have ordered catering from Milwaukee Waterfront Deli in the past, and should have reviewed them for that, but I didn't. So here I will say the Continental Breakfast spread they put together for me a year ago was well received by my work group. Delivery and set up was included which made my morning event go even smoother.
All in all a great local establishment that is well loved and admired by so many. Next time I will need to eat in, instead of rushing back to work.

I work downtown Milwaukee, so this is a spot I come to regularly for lunch. Their food is always 10/10 - highly recommend it. However, the heavier set lady wearing glasses behind the register is always less than pleasant. I unfortunately get her a lot when I go in. She never fails to NOT speak to me - doesn't say hello, doesn't verbally give me my total, not a "have a nice day" even when it's said to her, which I do every time, as I was raised with manners. I truly don't know what her deal is, or if she doesn't like interacting with females, as I've witnessed her having no issues chatting up the males that come in. In my opinion, she should find a different career, one that doesn't involve socializing or having to act like a decent human being.
Great lunch spot! Sandwiches are fresh and tasty. Eat on second floor to experience the conveyor belt. Have also had them cater work events and it's been terrific.
