Mo’s...A Place for Steaks

I guess after going there for so many years with the same server, we were used to excellent service this time we had a new server. It took almost 15 minutes to get our first drink, and after that our secondary server paid more attention to us than our primary.

My Daddy and I ate here while visiting Milwaukee. Both of us enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak. Sides were delicious and the cocktails washed it all down nicely. Thank you for a great meal and wonderful experience.

We fortunately had a phenomenal young Waitress that gave us the perfect service which one the one that I'm looking at I just think they put it on there. They would've called me if someone bought it. Wagu filet is wayyyyy too small to cook properly.

Always fabulous. A little pricey but the steak melts in your mouth like butter. Services and staff are wonderful. Highly recommended!

Steak and scallops were exceptional. My server was very attentive and always smiling. The flow and timing of service and food was very good. A little in the pricey side but I’d rather spend a little more for great food than spend less and be disappointed. I was by myself and ate near the bar and there were three loud drunk guys there that could have used some redirection. Other than that, a near perfect evening.

Great food and excellent service. Of course this place is expensive and we walked away with a bill of 1200.00 for five. Still a wonderful meal.

Good was great! Tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection and our waitstaff was very attentive. First time here but not our last!

Service was outstanding. Food good as usual , but skip the calamari/shrimp appetizer which is usually ok. This time the calamari was very very rubbery. Not good. Everything else was great.

A very pleasant experience with excellent wait staff service. Food was good but expensive. Salads were skimpy and bread needed to be refilled. Could improve portions for the cost.

Outstanding steaks cooked to perfection. Side dishes are more than generous and delicious. Had onion strings, brussel sprouts, and truffle mashed potatoes. All excellent. Service was wonderful. Servers extremely pleasant and accommodating. It was our anniversary and we were given a complimentary dessert. Gratuity of 20% is added on for you, but the service was so good we added on!

I guess shrinkflation has come to Mo's. The Signature Bone-In Ribeye was small, barely 1/2 inch thick and had a twig of a bone attached. I've been to Mo's many times over the years and the last two dinners there have been underwhelming to say the least. My wife's filet was also undersized. I'd rather deal with price increases than see the quality of the meal degrade. Service was a bit less than I've experienced on other occasions but one experience doesn't make a trend. I guess it is time to head back to Rare.

Actually, this was the worst meal I have had in Milwaukee! My husband and I booked this to celebrate our new home purchase. We dressed up and really looked forward to the evening. We had never dined here and went based on reviews. I had asked for a special seat, and we were in the 'window' area, which was dingy with no view and cold. The waiter seemed distracted and barely was around the entire meal. We were served the wrong salads AND appetizers. Trying to get another drink was almost impossible. The sides were unedible and the steak was fine but nothing special. They sent us a free dessert since everything was a mess, but didn't ask which one we would prefer. After all that the bill was $300 and I don't even drink alcohol! Looking at reviews I wonder if they added 20% tip without letting us know and we added another 20%? Do yourself a favor and don't go!

We were really looking forward to celebrating a special birthday at Mo's Steakhouse, but unfortunately the experience fell far short of expectations. From the start, the service felt inconsistent. Our server never showed us the meat display board that every other table around us was given, never asked how we wanted our steaks cooked, and even offered add-ons and enhancements to other guests that were never mentioned to us. It genuinely felt like we were being treated differently, which was especially disappointing on a celebratory night. The food itself didn't make up for the service issues. The jalapeño hash browns were burnt and unseasoned, and the filet mignon was cold and raw in the center, it tasted as if it had been frozen and not thawed properly before cooking. For a restaurant with Mo's reputation and price point, this was incredibly underwhelming. Overall, the night was a letdown. We left feeling disappointed instead of celebrated, we didn't even want the free dessert they offered. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves both service consistency and food quality.

I was seated for my reservation right away and I never once had to look around or wait for a waiter to take my order. The food came out rather quickly and was absolutely amazing, both the streak and the truffle mashed potatoes were the best thing I’ve ever had.

Mo’s was fabulous! The atmosphere, the service and the food was spectacular! I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends and family to enjoy.
